Hi everyone! I'm Leanne, 25 and currently 5 + 2 with my second.

    Can't believe I'm pregnant - in a good way :)

We were planning on trying at the end of the year but nature has took its own course!

I'm feeling very tired and nauseous. I don't have any metallic taste just an extremely dry mouth almost constantly! I didn't find out I was pregnant with dd until I was 9 weeks pregnant. So I just feel full of worry and wish that the next 7 weeks flys by!

I'm booked in to see midwife on the 10th April.

    Welcome Abis and Noodles!

I called my gp today and I need to see him before I can get referred to the midwife. So the first available appointment was the 11th April 6.30 p.m. It's actually working well with me as I will be away from the 4th till 9th. Not sure when I will see the midwife though.

I feel quite down today, really missing OH. I'm not really doing well without him... Just hoping the next 9 days will pass quickly.
  • Welcome Leanne!

Scan went well, thank you. I was so overwhelmed when I saw the baby I shed a few tears! Baby jumped and did all sorts:) it was bril. They couldn't get a good picture to measure it so I'm on 11+2 and I'll get the edd on my 2nd scan.

I was so overwhelmed with joy that I forgot to ask about birth defects! They've given me some info to read though so I'll do that and ask any questions next time.

Littlemoog and kavics - I hope time flies for you. Hang in there!!

Welcome Abi, Leanne and anyone else I've missed!

I've not had chance to post much but am trying to keep up on through my daily emails.

Had an early scan yesterday as we had IUI and was told I was actually 7 weeks as they measure it from the date of the treatment. Got to see the heartbeat :D. Have now been officially discharged from the assisted conception unit.

Then popped in at my GP to tell them and register in the system...wonder how long I'll need to wait for a phonecall...

LittleMoog I'm just one day behind you now :)

I've not really had any symptoms yet other than being tired and a little bit bloated - guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

    Morning ladies :)
Finally got a letter from the endocrinology consultant, took over 3 weeks from my GP's referral though. Got to go for a blood test, and they're sending me another letter with an appointment to see the consultant. Hope my thyroid level hasn't dropped too low while they've been dawdling about :o

Really struggled to get up this morning, and had to force myself to eat breakfast as I felt really queasy. Bleh! :( The lady I sit next to at work wears really strong perfumes, and every time she walks past me I feel sick. Guess I was lucky to make it this far with no major sickness :o

Honestly, I think people who wear too much perfume in the workplace should be shot. It's an assault to the senses, even if you're not pregnant! :D

I totally agree! I've always found her perfume obtrusive, but now it's making me cough/gag every time she walks past me (which is often!)

I hate perfumes, I just can't stand them. I keep sneezing when I use them therefore I only use them when necessary.

I was so tired this morning but feeling much better now. I agreed to babysit tonight but I'm regretting it big time, just want to go to bed ASAP.
