I keep getting a dull ache in my right side......like when I've had water/kindey infection...but I've dipped my wee so know I haven't.
Also weird pain under ribs......thats prob wind though.....or indigestion.
Not sure I can do another 8 months of wondering what on earth is going on inside me!0 -
Increased wind and indigestion was one of the first symptoms I got in early pregnancy. This is normal too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Stretchy, achey pains are completely normal ilovecushions, as the ligaments are all stretching as the size of your womb increases. You will also be getting a lot more blood vessels etc forming down there too, so if you start noticing that your legs are getting more veins at the tops of them, this is normal too. If you get any bleeding accompanied by pains though, please consult your doctor. It's fairly normal to get spotting around the time AF would have been due (or in my case at around 6 weeks - had an early scan at this point at early pregnancy unit), but it's best to get it checked out so that they can rule out an ectopic pregnancy or early miscarriage. Don't want to rain on your parade, but just be aware in case.
Thanks x Am worried about eptopic but I don't really know why cos I'm not is so much pain I'd take a painkiller (if I wasn't PG!)
You have rained on my parade with the veiny legs though.....I didn't know that! Like the tops of my legs don't look gross enough already!!0 -
I'd forgotten about the trapped wind/bloating - I had that for about 10 days, starting before I got my BFP and it was so painful. Seems to have eased off now for me (I'll probably blow up like a balloon tonight now that I've said that :rotfl:)Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160

Sorry ilovecushions - didn't mean to freak you out! It is safe to take paracetamol in pregnancy, and when I went to A&E with my pain and spotting, she said it's also ok to use a hot water bottle or wheatbag on the area as the baby is insulated in the amniotic fluid so it won't harm the baby.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Yeah there's loads of things that have happened to my body since being pregnant that I had never heard of before - thank goodness google and various websites I've been on have reassured me that they're all normal. I think the idea that all pregnant women are glowing and beautiful must have been made up by a man so that he could get jiggy. lolEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

A really good book that I've got out from my library at the moment is by Babycentre (the website) and Dorling Kindersley: Pregnancy from preconception to birth. I've found it really easy to read and it has quotes from Mums and Dads, which was great for Moon to hear. He likes looking at the picture each week and reading the little box underneath to see what the baby has developed and how big it is.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I also feel pain in lots of weird places, I am very constipated/bloated all the time and I am very very tired (I sleep all night for longer and still wake up tired!).
DH was not impressed but I made him (literally!) read the 'for dads' chapter on my book so he could get a better understanding. I don't think he quite appreciates the tiredness thing but the other bits seem to be more accepted now.
I think it's lovely to share what we're eatingI'm afraid mine has been rubbish as I still can't stomach much after the weekend tummy bug:(
Breakfast: mullerlight and a few pieces of pineapple
Lunch: some rice, chicken and a tiny slice of quiche.
