    Morning ladies,

Just popping on to say I have a pair of maternity jeans that don't fit me that I'm happy to send to anyone who wants them (for free).
They are from next, size 10 which usually fits me but these ones don't appear to fit over my ample bottom :o so I guess they'd fit an 8/10. They are a loose/boyfriend fit and they have a popper on each leg which means you can roll them up to about calf length for when the weather gets warmer. I got them 2nd hand from eBay so there is the tiniest bit of fraying at the bottom but you wouldn't notice them unless you looked hard.

Anybody who wants them PM me your address and I'll post them to you.

    xx

Hi all, I've been lurking a bit over a couple of days and thought I'd introduce myself.

Got great news on Monday that our IUI had been successful after nearly 3 years of infertility. I'm 4 + 4 today (i think?), so very early on but it is slowly sinking in :)

Having another blood test on Monday to make sure my hormone levels are increasing enough. After that I'm going to do a test at home just to hopefully finally see 2 lines!

Congratulations Maddie - that's great news! Hope it's a very sticky bean for you.

Thanks for the offer emsbet, but my bottom pushes me into the 10-12 category.

I bought 5 new bras at M&S today after a bra fitting as I was fed up of my bras not fitting any more. It came to £48 which I didn't think was too bad - all t-shirt bras, cotton, non-underwired. The best news is, I'm now a 36C, having been at 34B, so I finally have some boobs to speak of. The lady who did the fitting had taken her neice to Brighton yesterday to do some shopping as she is 12 weeks pregnant, so she was lovely to me. She wished me luck, and said that she looks forward to seeing me in a few months to be fitted for some new bras (possibly including nursing bras). She also said that once your boobs grow, they tend to stay bigger after the pregnancy, so hopefully this'll happen to me.

Also got a nice new top in New Look yesterday, as needed some bump camoflage as going to a friend's house tomorrow, and I've not told her yet.

Hugs for all who need or want them.

emsbet I have pm'd you about the jeans - apparently my bmi is only 18.3 and I've been told to put on weight so I've no doubt they'd fit me. :D

Maddie I remember you from the ttc thread ages ago. Glad to see you here and sticky dust galore.

I had my scan yesterday and 1 bouncy baby that managed to offend mummy already is in my tum. Bean put on a stage show for daddy, as soon as the screen turned to mummy bean turned it's back and refused to turn back around. Doh!

They moved me forward to 13+5 (today) so I'm going to move on to the other thread now. Hope to see you all there soon. Oh and the good news is I've been classified as low risk FINALLY! Phew. :D

  • Hi everyone,

Good to hear everyone is doing ok. I've been a bit quiet since I joined really. We thought we were 12 weeks yday but our nhs scan isn't until 27th March so we booked a private dating scan (I know not very MSE) so at least I could be convinced there was definately a bubba in there. We had it yesterday and I'm actually 13+4 :-) everything looked good although bubba was pretending to be shy at first, cheeky s*d :-) my new edd is 12/9. I've now allowed myself to feel excited and we've now told our family and friends, don't think we could have kept it a secret til the 28th. Need to get my US bought forward as I need the nuchal scan done sooner than we thought. Even ventured to a well known baby store to be baffled with all this equipment, I may need an extension to fit it all in I think?!

Guess I'll move across to the next thread soon, but I've really enjoyed lurking here and reading everyone's progress and advice. Hope everyone's pregnancies go well and hopefully see you on the next thread soon. :-)

    Lots of love LMMS xxxx

    Can i join please.
Had IVF in 2010 and had a little girl in May 2011.
Now having been told it would never happen naturally for us i was more than a little shocked to get a BFP last week. (actually only tested for a friend who was convinced i was lol). I work it out i am 5 weeks tomorrow.
So scared though, if they said it cant happen why has it.
Plus i suffered prolapses with my first one and worried they will hinder the second.
I have cramps most days but i did with my first baby but im forever panicking. Its driving me mad.
Would NHS offer me an early scan or will i have to pay for one?

alamaya - Firstly, congratulations! Most early pregnancy units will only offer a scan if you are 6 weeks plus as before then, it's unlikely they will detect a heartbeat. They will also only usually scan early if you have unexpected bleeding or severe cramps, or have a history of miscarriage. You are also likely to have to be referred by your GP.

think i will just pay the £60 at my local clinic for one.
So strange last time i told everyone at 4 weeks as it was ivf everyone knew the testing date.
Im too frightened to tell people this time. Hubby is the only one to know. I just cant bare telling people for something to go wrong :(

Yay LMM that is great. I hope to join you there soon. My official scan is tomorrow and I am (to put it lightly) a little nervous :)

Welcome Alamaya, things do happen this way so I wouldn't worry too much. Doctors told me it would be almost impossible for me to get pregnant naturally and this will be my third child. It is unlikely that they will scan you early unless there are issues as SM said above.
