9:30 so not too long to wait, had anxiety dreams last night where we missed the appointment and we couldn't get another one for 6 months! Think it might be playing on my subconscious

How are you doing?
I was terrible the couple of days before mine. Wasn't too bad once we were at the hospital but that was mostly because i was distracted by my bladder that was about to burst!
I'm ok, still feel a bit twitchy that something will go wrong but I'm feeling more relaxed in general and looking forward to all the milestones to come.

Glad you are able to relax a bit more. Thank you SM will let you know how it goes.
I can tell that my anxiety levels are rising the further along we get, think the trying time will be 32 weeks.
I am ok most of the time because we just haven't acknowledged that this is really happening, it is only when a scan is due that it brings it to the front of our minds.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Aw, good luck for tomorrow Kitten-Pie
Emsbet, so glad to see that your scan went well and you're able to relax a little now
I've been a bit quiet lately, but have been lurking and keeping up with everyone's progress. Had my second scan at 8+4 wks, and all was well. But a couple days later I had some mild spotting again, and about the same time my sickness seemed to go away and didn't feel sick for about a week. We decided to try and be positive and hope for the best, but I've been feeling quite down. Have felt kinda sick again the last couple of days, so I'm hoping all is ok and the bean is still hanging in there. Am 10+1 today, seeing midwife for 1st time on Wed, but the midwife at the hospital said that she didn't think I'd get a 12wk scan as they can officially date from the one I had at 8+4Hope that's not going to be the case, as we really wanted to be able to properly tell people soon.

Just a quick question for those who've had their scans and who are still lurking, it says on my maternity appointment card that I have to bring a urine sample with me to every appointment. I know I'll easily be able to produce one after I've had my scan (full bladder), but should I be taking one I "made earlier"? If so, what did you take yours in?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

I know you mean your 12 wk scan, so I'am not sure if it's different, but when I went at 6.5 weeks, I was told to take one, so I did, and no-one even asked me for it! I forgot all about it 'til I found it in my bag like 3 days later....eew :cool:0

I took one with me but my midwife gave me a container when I saw her at the booking in appointment. I wouldn't worry too much you can produce it there when you go see the midwife.
