Hey

We have a heartbeat!!:j

Measuring right on track at 6+4, CRL measurement of 6.7mm. She didn't tell me how many heartbeats per minute, but she said everything is looking normal, yay!

I am still in shock I think. I am pleased but I definitely don't want to get too excited just yet

Hope all is well? Just a quick question as I am REALLY worried. Have any of you ladies experienced bleeding after sex? Last night I found that I was bleeding (not heavy, a light pink colour, with some red) and I am really scared now.

Any help would be greatly received, thanks xx

It's quite common to have some bleeding after sex but if you are worried a quick call to your midwife should help put your mind at rest.

I know how you feel. Our last baby died at 11+3 (two days after a scan) and we didn't find out until 13+3 so this time inbetween my last scan and my 12 week one is particularly scary. Dating (12 week) scan is next and that's a week on Tuesday so not too long to wait.

Have you discussed your concernes with your GP? Sometimes if you get a sympathetic one they will try book you an early scan.
