Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Had my docs appt last night to start the ball rolling. Am being referred to another hospital as my local one is carp and has too many bad memories for me. Doc did not mention an early scan which surprised me so am in a dilemma as to whether to book up a private one. Dont know if I can cope worrying the next 5 weeks or so.

Baby was very lazy until the sonographer gave him a nudge, then he started doing frog movements - very sweet indeed. OH saw fingers and toes, I'd forgotten to take my glasses

Have been moved forward to 12+6, so new EDD 30th August. Because I'm so exact on my dates though, I think baby has been growing a tiny bit fast, and I'm still thinking September 7th ish.

Off to celebrate with a thai green curry and an alcohol free Becks (which are amazing by the way for anyone who fancies a lager)

I had my booking in apt today which went much better than I had dreaded ! the midwife was the same one we had for our youngest son, and not the one we saw in Sept which was good - she was much less abrasive than I remembered her to be

My morning sickness has returned this evening so I guess the cold was masking my symptoms. Everything feels different to the last three pregnancies, im not off food like before but i find im gagging a bit more.

The midwife called the hospital regarding my scan and has tried her best to get it 11 weeks more than 13, she said my forms will be faxed today rather than the usual 4 day paper transfer which will speed it up too. She was fab, really tried to answer my questions without being dismissive.

One thing i hadnt prepared for was the consultant may want to do a CVS (similar to amnio) at the scan appointment so we have to have serious talks about that.

Great news on the scans ladies.

I have a date for mine now, is it wrong that when my mum and nan have asked when it is I've lied and said I don't know because I don't want to be pestered with 'how did it go' 'have you had the scan yet' etc in case something isn't quite right? I'd rather wait have the scan and then go show them the picture of my gorgeous jellybean x
