thanks guys,
I dont have a scan date, im hoping for 12 weeks which is another 3 weeks away but I also want a nuchal fold check thingy which they say cant be done till 13 weeks.
Had another horrendous cold this week so mega run down, have no pma left at all.Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
Mishka, the nuchal fold scan can be done anytime between 11 weeks and 13+6 so you should be fine at 12 weeks.0

Big ((hugs)) I know how terribley anxious you must be after last time. Talk through your worries with the midwife tomorrow, I'm sure she'll be able to put your mind at ease a little.

Student_Mrs I don't have dual citizenship because I returned to the UK when I was 8, and I think you had to decide at 13 where I was born. Both my parents are English, my Dad was there for work. I'm pescatarian too. I had a nice tuna steak with an oven-baked jacket potato at my Mum and Dad's last night - couldn't face the side salad as I was very sick after eating salad on Saturday evening. I don't have any food cravings, just food aversions, although I have realised that the smell of cooking meat doesn't make me feel as sick as it used to pre-pregnancy - raw meat is still as bad though. Unfortunately my list of aversions seems to be growing. I had a cup of tea yesterday evening for the first time in a couple of weeks, and it made me feel ill. The only hot drink I can stomach now is decaff coffee. Hope your midwife appointment goes well. I'm dreading the blood-taking, as I've already had 2 lots of extra blood tests so far, and I don't like needles.
Walby I'm pleased to hear that your husband is looking after you (hope there is someone to look after him too).
mishka can you call your midwife to discuss your worries? I'm sure they'd do a home visit to put your mind at rest. From what I've read on other forums, it's quite common the closer you get to 12 weeks, for symptoms to disappear. Hope your cold gets better soon. Get lots of rest and drink plenty of fluids.
Well no surprise, I'm feeling sick again this morning. I've been getting very bloated recently, and woke up with tummy ache, and looking about 5 months' pregnant due to the bloating. I've had some food and then gone back to sleep again. Will hit the shower in a minute once I feel a bit more stable.
Hugs to all,

It definitely is a mixed blessing having multiple scans.
I found the best thing I can do is not think about it too much, not count the days and just take each day as it comes.
DH said to me "there's no point worrying/grieving over something that hasn't happened yet. Take each day as it comes. If something happens then we will deal with it then but for now enjoy being pg with our baby" and he's right. I think because I've accepted that there's nothing I can do to change the outcome, I've been a lot calmer. I still have my moments though
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly for you.
