Walby so sorry to see your sad news
Sexymouse - I feel sick as a dog tooNot all the time, and not every day, but most days. Seems to be it's worse in the mornings, but then comes and goes throughout the day as well. Haven't actually been sick, but I feel so nauseous. Plus the sicky feeling is often coupled with an upset tummy feeling and dashing to the loo - it's so confusing not knowing whether to sit on the loo or lean over it
Feeling a bit stressed too as had to call in sick to work the other day, and I'm scared they'll get narked with me and think I'm taking the mick.
Jules - congrats on your bfp!0 -
Woo hoo scan day is finally here! Not until later on though, so will have to occupy myself somehow until then. I'm sure I can find something to do related to this job thing I have :rotfl:
I Don't mean to be flippant about my work - I'm just finding it very difficult to concentrate at the moment. I'm just about getting by, hopefully I'll get my mojo and work ethic back soon!
Speaking of work, OH has had a letter inviting him to interview which is great news. It's only a temp contract, but a few months work is a few months wages. He took voluntary redundancy last year so we could move home, and it's been harder than either of us thought to find work. Scary times, especially when I look at my work's maternity policy' Quick summary 'we will begrudgingly give you the minimum we can legally get away with'.
Unless he finds work, it will be him at home with the baby not me. I'm more bothered than that thought than I should beDon't suffer alone - if you are experiencing Domestic Abuse contact the National Domestic Abuse Helplines

Shell we are in a similar position, my OH still has a job but due to contracting issues he is only rota'd to work 12 hours a week now instead of his previous full time hours and he can't get any overtime. 12 hours a week is a struggle now but in July when I go on maternity leave we are leaving Ripon and moving to Leeds so he is hoping to get something there with more hours and a bit more security. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

I have my scan at 2pm Shell_girl. Getting ready to leave, am terrified!
My hubby also just got news of an interview, on Friday. I'm hoping this week is going to be a good week!
I just want to be able to relax and hear the magic words 'here's your baby' and see the picture on the screen. Fingers crossed everything goes ok.
Good luck Shell!0 -
Good luck Shell girl and Bellola!
I am being made redunandt at the end of next month, so even if I do manange to find a temp job between April and August, I will only be entitled to SMA. Fortunately DH has a relatively well paid job so we should be ok.

Hi ladies,
I had my booking in appointment this afternoon, 4 lots of blood, a urine sample and lots of questions later I'm done. I also managed to get my scan sorted so I have that on the 9th March. This fits in with our plan to take a picture of the scan all being well to a "lunch date" we've set up with my parents on the Sunday after to break the news as part of my dad's birthday present.
My current EDD is 18th September. So even just going on LMP it's been moved 2 days between my appointment with the docs and appointment with the midwife. Made me giggle quite a bit did that. Looking forward to my next EDD.
Morning sickness seems to be being rather mean to me at 10+3, and has be throwing up every morning this last week. Boo.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
