Congratulations T-Sil - I think I remember you from the ttc thread - so pleased you've got your BFP. Hope all goes well with your test results.

Hey SM, yes I was on there when you got your BFP I think :)

Good luck with the scan today xx

Not sure when to go and tell the Dr I am preg for definite. I guess the earlier the better so I can get appointments earlier etc. I am just scared to do anything in case I jinx myself!

I even keep thinking that I shouldn't be posting on forums and talking about it because I might jinx myself. I know its stupid!!

It's not stupid at all. I'm the same, I have got my questionnaire to fill out for my booking in appointment next week but I'm refusing to do it until the day before. Also I'm not getting any of my pregnancy books or any other stuff back out of the cupboard until we've had the 12 week scan.

    xx

    Thank you :)

I went to the doctor last week on Thursday, so 11dpo and said I wanted a blood test to see if the hcg was rising and also asked them to test for progesterone levels. I was thinking, if I then had another chemical we would have some numbers to go on...
The dr was pretty useless tbh, I had to explain most things to him!
The results will be back early this week, going to try calling today...but they couldn't get me in for the second round until this Wednesday so almost a week later.
Then the results of that one will probably take ages too!

Glad it's not just me! Even though I know at the end of the day it just comes down to biology and what will be, will be.

I play alot of netball and I have decided to stop. I am sad about that but of course a baby is more important, but I hate lying and I just know that my friends will know something is up. I am the one that turns up every week without fail and would be at a match with a broken leg if I could, so I am not sure how I am going to get out of it right now. I think I am going to have to say I am injured in some way, but I hate lying. I have to do it fast too because training is on Thurs and we have an important match on Sat! Eeek.

Anyone else exercising or stopping etc?

I guess just because I don't have a great track record with being pregnant! I know they are all different though...

I just meant the earlier I get my appointment through, the sooner I will know if I need time off work etc.
I do understand that earliest scans and things can be worrysome because you can't see much, but last time I had a scan at 10wks and actually the baby had stopped growing at 6.5 weeks. I wish I had known earlier and not had to go through 3 weeks of thinking it was all ok.

I used to do Zumba but gave it up the first time I fell pregnant. Apparently it's one thing that isn't advisable to do when pg and a lot of instructors won't let you go if they know.

I see what you mean, i always like to have a date to work towards - if i have to wait 6 weeks fine but at least i can count down!

ive not even booked in with my midwife, thats another 2 and a bit weeks away yet. my first scan is at least 5 weeks away, which is going to feel like a lifetime :o

I haven't got mine out yet either, I read it cover to cover last time so think I can probably recite it but it isn't coming out of storage for a while.

Glad everything went ok today. Good Luck SM.
