Good Morning all, hope you are well - another newbie reporting with fingers crossed!!
A brief intro, joined the TTC thread at the end of December (after having spent weeks reading lots of it) went off the pill after 16 years and had my first bleed about 28th Dec, then ... fast forward to being (I think!) about 5 weeks pg... neither hubby or I think it is real as it has happened so soon!
Going to try and make an appointment for the doctor this week and go from there. I definitely feel a bit different though (maybe as I have given up drinking!)so pretty sure it is not in my headAm trying to take every day as it comes but it is hard not to get excited
Have read the last 50 pages or so (it's been a slow weekend...) so have caught up, so nice watching people come over from TTC to here. Lots of luck to all, esp sexymouse with your scan tomorrow xDFW Nerd #1310 -
Welcome and congratulations welshgirl
jj I get itchy boobs in general when pg, I think it's just due to them growing.

Hi all,
Still no further spotting, but got the normal achey/stretchy pain. I'm a bit worried as my boobs don't feel very sensitive at all today though. Moon brought me toast in bed today at my request, to help stave off the sicky feelings, and I don't feel sick at all, which is good. Will have to think about what to do regarding breakfast tomorrow though, as he's going away for a couple of days on business. I suppose I'll be awake though to see him off, so I could just have an ultra-early breakfast.
Spoke to my Mum last night, and my Nana seems to be doing ok (just a bruised elbow). People from a rehab team came over and are going over again today to discuss handrails etc, although my Nana is adamant that she doesn't want anything - she's very stubborn anyway, and the Alzheimer's has made this worse, as she'll agree to things one day, and forget having discussed it the next.
According to my pregnancy book, itchy/tingly/sticky nipples is completely normal. Apparently the glands on the nipples start to release a sort of oil to prepare the area for breast feeding.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Try not worry about the symptoms sexymouse you will probably find they come and go. Some days I feel less pg than others. I had 3/4 days of not feeling nauseous last week then it came back Friday and yesterday. My boobs are very rarely sore they just itch occassionally and I get the odd sharp pain.

Hi all... I'm 9 weeks pregnant (at least thats what they're saying until I have my scan - I didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly and lost track of my dates!)
This is my first Baby and my "Ogre" and I are extremely happy.
Had the usual morning sickness, and very itchy nipples!
But the last couple of days ive had a bit of watery bleeding and a few mild pains.. I phoned the hospital and they said theres nothing they can do until Monday morning...
I'm going to see my doctor in the morning and see if she can get me in for an early scan...(otherwise due 1st March) Its not like a period, just a watery browny colour watery discharge..
Pains are a bit dull, like im wearing clothes that are too tight..
Can anyone put my mind at rest on any of this??
