Sorry to hear about your bleeding elphaba - I hope everything is ok for you (one of my friends had bleeding at the beginning of both of her pregnancies, and everything was ok - I'm holding on to this fact myself). If I were you I would call your doctor in the morning and see if they can refer you to the early pregnancy unit at your hospital. I don't know if it's the same elsewhere in the country, but in my county, you have to be referred to the EPU rather than it being a drop-in.

Good luck for those with scans tomorrow and seeing docs for checks etc. I'm now at 8 weeks. Nothing remotely exciting to report except I have my appointment with the docs tomorrow to book into the system FINALLY. YEY.

elphaba hope everythings ok. it obviously depends on area as round here once you've had your booking in appointment (to become officially preg lol) you can ring EPU direct and they will tell you if they want you to come in (i had to do this a few times with DD and they were lovely) it would be worth checking as its much easier than docs appointment they can usually see you really quickly.

iv had the pain from wind to not sure what im eating to cause it but its not pleasant and i panic all the time. boobs arent painful,itchy etc but definately bigger. and my stomach is really bloated not sure if thats due to the wind prob or im starting to show :eek: we dont want to tell anyone till after scan including my teenage son but if i do start to show hes going to guess i can blame some of it on baby weight but as id started to diet and finally started to lose my tum its going to look a bit suspicious lol apart from that im just really tired but i suppose thats to be expected with a 6 mnth old to look after its only going to get worse .

We are back from the scan and LO is still growing strong, the sonographer said the heartbeat is nice and strong which is reassuring to hear

I've also been moved forward almost a week. I thought I was 7+6 but baby is now measuring 8+5. Apparently at the last scan the foetal pole was measuring 5+6 but the sac was measuring 6+5, but now baby has caught up. I'm glad she didn't tell me this at the first scan though because I would have worried about it.

Our next scan is a week on Saturday.

how do you always get such early scans !!! mine are always at lunch time when its packed silly and they end up running behind, leaving me, my bladder AND belly in distress :rotfl:
