Evening everyone,
Is anyone else suffering from acne? My face has never been so bad. Every morning I wake up with a new monstrosity to layer concealer on top of, its horrible! I suppose that means there are lots of hormones though so I should be thankful!
Had another headache this evening so just had a nice bath, now tucked up in bed.
Glad the scans all went well. Only 16 days til I get to have mine!0 -
I get spots in pregnancy bellola, mostly massive ones.

hi all glad the scans went well. the earliest scan i had was 11 weeks and you could see a fully formed baby by then not sure at which week it goes from a blob to an alien lol. im 5+5 today and had my first bought of vomiting this morn (not nice) up till now id just felt nauseus. iv bought some spearmint polos and they seem to help. in a way i was pleased as its a good sign. got my booking in in 2weeks so need to call and get info pack probably tomorrow it all still feels a bit surreal.
for all the panickers i know it doesnt help but at this stage most docs wont do much, its very frustrating when all you want is someone to say everything is absolutly fine. to you its the most important thing in the world and should be top priority, to a doctor theres not really anything they can do to change whats going on so their moto seems to be wait and see you will be getting a scan in a few weeks anyway. its about time they had training in the paranoia of women in early preg lol. perhaps as well as the 12 week dating and 20 week anomaly scans they should bring in a 6 week reasurance scan. im sure if they did that routinely theyd have alot less women going through docs, a&e and EPAU in a panic it would lower womens stress levels and probably save the NHS money in the long run. see i should be an advisor for the NHS lol.:coffee:i find a cup of tea can solve most problems:coffee:

As above!!! I must admit
I feel a little jealous of people with early scans - but also feel bad as I am aware there are previous problems which means they are more needed and appreciated - hope no one is offended by me saying I am jealous... I even got as far as looking up private early scans this afternoon but think I have got past it now!
Mmmm not feeling very pregnant at the mo, the odd twinge, slight headache, sleeping well (but not particularly tired) not really nauseous - am pleased but also wishing for more symptoms!! (I know, I KNOW!) Only 5+5 so a long way to go yet but am practically on a health spa at the mo - eating really healthy food, making sure I have fortified cereal, adding calcium etc - very odd! Plus started a swimming regime today, with the no cigarettes and alcohol I am a different person! We will see if a couple of weeks when I am clutching the loo bowl!
So pleased with the scans for sexym and emsbet - enjoying keeping up with the news!DFW Nerd #1310 -
Welcome welshgirl.
I was sick for the second time during the pregnancy this morning. I woke up at 3am feeling really sick, and hoped that by going back to sleep, it would pass, but had a light breakfast as soon as I got up - a nutrigrain and a cup of tea, as well as a shot of Rochester's Ginger drink (for the nausea), and ended up being sick anyway. Now I'm in a quandry - do I eat something to replace the food I've lost, or just try fluids? One of the main things that seems to make it worse, is terrible wind (burping/hiccups).
I've got work this afternoon in a new school for the agency, so the agency have just called me again to let me know that I will be an ambassador for them, so hope I have the energy to do well.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Morning
Hope everyone is good.
Sexymouse - hope the sickness doesn't carry on throughout the day and that it's just a once a day occurence:)
I worry about getting sickness, even though I want it, because I work in such a small office...they would know something was up!
I just do not feel pregnant at all. I tested again this morning to reassure myself lol.
I have quite a rumbly tummy and have been burping quite a bit the last few days but its hard to know if thats a symnptom. My boobs feel smaller if anything, certainly no soreness!
Getting second blood test done tomorrow, do you think they can rush the results through if I tell them I am really worried etc?

Are you having the test done at the hospital or the doctors T-Sil? The hospital probably will process the results quicker if there is no middle man to have to wait for the sample from. Not sure how quickly they can do pregnancy tests, but it took 2 1/2 weeks to process my slapped cheek syndrome immunity results. It may be a much more complicated test in that case though.
The burping and rumbly tummy is definitely a symptom. According to the pregnancy book I have, the progesterone is responsible for slowing down the digestive system, so that more nutrients can be absorbed for the baby. This is why we get wind, as the food ferments a bit more.
As for not feeling pregnant, part of me still didn't believe it until I had my scan yesterday. I also did a clearblue digi a week after my first positive test to check the weeks had increased.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

It's at the doctors as it's only 5 minutes away from where I work. I had the first one on Thursday last week and got the results on Monday, so hoping I'll get them back by Friday and not have to wait the weekend
Which pregnancy book have you got? I might invest in one in a couple of weeks x0 -
It's a book I got out from the library - "Pregnancy from preconception to birth" by Babycentre & Dorling KindersleyEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Hi all... I'm 9 weeks pregnant (at least thats what they're saying until I have my scan - I didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly and lost track of my dates!)
This is my first Baby and my "Ogre" and I are extremely happy.
Had the usual morning sickness, and very itchy nipples!
But the last couple of days ive had a bit of watery bleeding and a few mild pains.. I phoned the hospital and they said theres nothing they can do until Monday morning...
I'm going to see my doctor in the morning and see if she can get me in for an early scan...(otherwise due 1st March) Its not like a period, just a watery browny colour watery discharge..
Pains are a bit dull, like im wearing clothes that are too tight..
Can anyone put my mind at rest on any of this??
xx
Just to let you all know, had scan today and all is well! Baby looks healthy and no obvious anomolies as to the bleeding. Got a photo and am feeling much better!0
