Not sure how quickly they can do pregnancy tests, but it took 2 1/2 weeks to process my slapped cheek syndrome immunity results. It may be a much more complicated test in that case though.
Yeah, tests like that will be non-routine and you might even need cultures grown.
HCG tests like T-Sil is having should be much quicker. I had two. Both were done by about 10am and the results with were me (I was phoned) by 3pm the same day."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Thanks for replying. I have the second blood test today at 11.50pm.
I am going to ask if there is any way they can be rushed through because I just need anything to help me stop worrying at the moment.
I know I need to step away from the pregnancy tests, but I did another FRER this morning...the line came up so quickly and is as dark as the control line, but about the same darkness as yesterdays.
Is it true that the further along you get the longer it takes for hcg to double?
I wish I felt something, but I feel totally normal. My boobs hurt more when I get AF! lol
Hope everyone else is ok.
I'd like to add myself to the list, my EDD is 14th Oct.

T-Sil, the lines don't really get darker on some pg tests, if there are two lines your pg, not like with opk's where one line has to be darker than the control to be positive. And it's the same with symptoms, some people get loads some people get none and some people go a few weeks thinking they are the lucky ones with no symptoms then getting hit with morning sickness. I found out the hard way in my last pg that loads of symptoms doesn't always equal a full term pregnancy.
Your 4+3 today? I'm only a week ahead of you. When I first found out the only symptom I had was that I had a stronger sense of smell and a few headaches. Since moving into week 5 I've started with sore breasts and heartburn.
I know nothing will put your mind at ease till you get the blood test results but try not to stress or worry yourself too much hun, try to stay positive. Everyone is here for you. Maybe if the results are going to take ages you could do a CB Digi to see the weeks move but stop poas lol xxx
much hugs xxYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Is anyone having cravings?
I haven't previously but I can't get enough meat. I am having dreams about Bacon and Beef. Very weird. I figure it must mean my body requires something, perhaps my iron levels are low.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Not as such. Having some food adversions again, mostly to chicken and brocolli.
Yesterday I was feeling really sick in the morning but despite this I got it into my head that I wanted a Gregg's sausage roll for lunch. I had one and felt better (until in the afternoon)
Just a quick note to those worried about symptoms coming and going. I had three days last week where I felt fine (except for being tired) then started to feel nauseous again over the weekend but not much. Then yesterday I felt really sick and then today I don't really feel it at all so it just goes to show that symptoms come and go and that in itself isn't anything to worry about

I'm quite busy at work at the moment as we are closing down at the end of next month so can't really come on much in the day.
Also I've found myself posting a bit more on the "big" thread as it moves a bit faster and also there are quite a few ladies on there that were on this thread with me when I had both my mcs so I like to see how they are getting on. Especially as those from my first time on here have now just popped or are about to do so and I like to hear about there new arrivals

Yes it is. It tends to be ladies who are further along as most people go from here to the 12-24 week before that one but anyone can post and they are all really lovely. It's a good place to post if you have any worries as they've all been there and can offer good advice.
You also can pick up lots of helpful information for later on too, about what to expect and also things to buy etc.
