Hi everyone, I've added myself to the list as I now have a scan date. EDD will probably change though! Nausea seems to have gone *touches wood*. The tiredness is like nothing I've ever experienced before. I'd say that is now my only pg symptom (well that and a bit of a belly!)

Looking forward to getting first scan out of the way as I still keep thinking I've imagined it all, or that I'll get bad news at the scan. I'm trying to be optimistic though.

Fed up of family trying to force veg down me at every opportunity- agree with another poster who said about only knowing what she wants to eat when the craving hits. I'm on a bland food mission- jacket potato and cheese and egg yolk on toast are the best inventions ever this week

OMG everything you have written - I am exactly the same! EDD is 06/09 and scan date is 22nd!

10 weeks today! I have very little nausea now, just the killer tiredness and incredibly sore boobs. Oh and the really spotty face!

I'm trying to be optimistic too, but terrified I've had a missed misscarriage and body just hasn't realised it. Must think positive. I've had no bleeding and only period-type cramping so hope to God everything's ok. 13 days til I get to find out!

hehe it's an attractive business being pregnant isn't it! lovely to think that someone else has the same dates are you planning to find if you're having a boy or a girl? I don't want to find out... but it would make life easier for buying stuff.

The main reason I'm not going to find out is that I do have a bit of a preference, not that I'll readily admit it in RL! But I think once the baby is here I'll fall in love with it either way and I won't mind... but if I know in the pregnancy that I'm not having what I secretly want it might make the last few months a bit harder? Has anyone else got a secret preference what they have?

I have an open preference for a girl, purely because my Mum has saved some of my sister's and my clothes from when we were little for our children, so it would be lovely to be able to use them. Moon typically wants a boy though, as he wants to play with boy toys!

If you'd have asked me this time last year I'd have said girl but having had 2 mcs since then I now don't care as long as it's happy, healthy and our forever baby
That's not a dig at anyone with a preference btw just a comment on how my feelings have changed about it over the past 7/8 months

For the first 21 weeks I was convinced I was having a girl and me and OH both really wanted a girl, and I was dreading going to find out in case they told me it was a boy and I was disappointed, but it is seriously not like that at all, I was over the moon so for those who worry about that, don't because you'l be delighted either way

I understand completely emsbet, and I know that I'll be head over heels with baby when it arrives whichever flavour I get!

Part of me thinks not knowing will also give me the boost I need during labour to keep going- if I don't know then I think I'll be looking forward to finding out.

We said last time round we would find out, just for practical reasons. This time im not so sure, especially after a friend on fb announced what she was having and what she was calling it when she posted a picture of the scan, then every time she had kicks or heartburn she referred to the baby by its chosen name - it just seemed to take all of the excitement out of it !?!

Hello all, been AWOL for a bit but all is well with me and the bump.
Just been a busy bee again for a bit, I'm having a nice quiet jammy day catching up with 4OD and I player. I've been warned the last OBEM was a bit hairy so not sure if I should watch it lol.
