All ok so far (well as of Monday at least). Got moved forward a week as well so that's good. Got a scan a week tomorrow then the 12 week one (which will be closer 13 weeks) on 6th March so not long to wait now.

Thanks for all your support girls, I really do appreciate it.
All I can do is take one day at a time and keep positive.
I am going to start making a list of names that I like! I know that does seem crazy early but hey, most girls think about that their whole life right?!

Just to add to what everybody else has said T-Sil. I am 9 weeks on Sunday and so far the only symptoms I have had is that I am up at 4.00 every morning for a wee and feel sick if I haven't eaten every 3 hours or so.
I def don't feel pregnant in fact I have to confess that sometimes I forget and then get told off by my bf for trying to do something he thinks I shouldn't be doing (which seems to be everything at the moment, I wasn't even allowed to go shopping the other day because apparently it was too cold).
Like you I am lucking forward to my scan as I think it will then start to feel real.0 -

These were my exact symptoms too, now I've still got the early morning wee but have added soul destroying tiredness into the mix in the last couple of weeks.
I felt a tiny little fluttering feeling earlier today. I know it's much too early for me to be feeling baby move (10+4), and it was most likely trapped wind, but I'm telling myself it was bubs letting me know s/he's looking forward to showing off at the scan
Speaking of showing off, I had a home visit from midwife and student MW the other day. My dog who is very old and NEVER moves from in front of the fire spent the first half hour clowning- rolling over, shaking himself, licking himself , slobbering, trying to get on the student MWs knee. All very sweet I'm sure... but my dog weighs more than 12 stone and has developed selective deafness when being told to lie down.
In the end I had to ask OH to take him out for a walk as I was so embarassed. Pretty sure the MWs have booked bubs onto the at risk register already. They were very nice about it- they said don't worry 'it'll give us something to talk about for the rest of the day'

In weeks 5-6 I started getting thirstier and peeing more, and at 7+1 the nausea and tiredness hit. I was only sick once, and once I got to about 10+1 the nausea had pretty much eased off (although I've had a bit this morning and on Weds), but I'm still exhausted - it gets to about 9pm and I literally can't keep my eyes open any more.
The thing is, there are people who have no symptoms whatsoever and they're fine. And there are people who have loads of symptoms and it doesn't work out. Unfortunately, there's no rhyme or reason to it and you can't tell what's going to happen. Your blood results are really positive and look like they're doing what they should, and if you want more reassurance you can go for an early scan in a couple of weeks.
It's impossible to lose that little back of the mind voice which says 'but... what if?', because each scan, each blood test only shows that it's ok at that point. But there are two things that I find very reassuring to think about:
Firstly, the odds are in your favour. Depending on your circumstances, you have between a 75% and 85% chance of everything being fine. Once you've had a scan and seen a heartbeat, that goes up to around a 95% probability it will be fine.
Secondly, if you're going to lose it, there's very little you can do to make it stick. And if everything's fine, there's very little you can do to dislodge it.
Of course, I am still extremely stressed about our 12wk scan next week.
Sa-ra-ra, I'll try and pave the way but I don't want to join the big girl thread yet, I didn't even realise that the 2nd trimester doesn't start til my 13th week plus I want to see how all your scans go. Especially all the ttc ladies that are now on here :T
This post was beautiful, it made me feel better and I think would have last week.
It is amazing seeing the heartbeat pulsing, thank you fluffnutter, thought I was supposed to hear a beat so that's good. All my mentors in placement now know but I don't want my students to know yet, not sure why.
Aww shellgirl, they're probably glad that the dog will have someone to look after - like Nana in peter pan
We've also got a preference for a girl, as in my hubby refueses to believe we could have a boy!! He says that he couldn't cope with another him - I would love it
(((hugs))) to all

Hi ladies
On the subject of gender preference, I have always wanted a girl, imagined excatly what it would be like etc. Today at 20 week scan we found out its a boy - and I'm over the moon! :smileyhea I'm so excited I haven't been able to sit still all afternoon and am so looking forward to being a mummy of a little man!
Hope that gives some reassurance

Hi ladies!
I have not posted for a wee while- i'm able to read at work but not post
I am now 6+4weeks and have my first meeting with midwife on monday. I am nervous but excited.
i have had a few symptoms or at least i think they are! tiredness , constipation, itchy nipples, swollen boobs and my lower tummy has suddenly grown and is sticking out- feels like it is permamently the week before AF.
i wanted to ask and apologies if it has already been asked but is anyone keeping a pregnancy diary/journal?
i have an unused note book in which i am writing down feelings, symptoms and reactions of OH etc....it is not necessarily for the baby to read later in life but more for me and OH to track what and when things happen and as we have not told anyone yet , like this forum, it lets me have an outlet!!
Hope everyone is keeping well!!0 -
Yes I'm keeping a diary izzy - Moon brought a slimline weekperview diary home for me, and I'm recording everything pregnancy related - appointments, sickness, feelings, when we got our BFP and when we've told family etc and their reactions.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
