Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Hey everyone,

I'm 9 weeks tomorrow. Time seems to be going soooo slowly! I am literally couting down the days to the scan and the magic 12 weeks. Got awful back pain today, on my right side kinda mid back. Also had a bad bout of nausea this morning, ginger biscuits are helping though!

Time for bed soon, still getting to sleep before 9 each night! Still keep worrying but then I think I don't have any reason to worry, haven't had any bleeding or particularly bad cramping so gotta keep positive (emsbet I think it was something you had said that really helped!).

I think that this is the most up to date list but I could be wrong as I had to go back several pages.

I have also added myself as it is now feeling a little more real, still nervous but what can you do.:p

I spoke to a Doctor today about the vitamin b6 and using it to help ease morning sickness. She said she had never heard of it, asked exactly how much was I vomiting. I explained its my fourth pregnancy and I usually suffer up to 16 weeks, this time round I wanted to ease my discomfort because I suffer with nausea, but no vomiting, all day long.

She then, rather patronizingly (sp?) suggested I tried dry toast and biscuits !? I had to bite my tongue but did firmly reply as its 4th time round I had tried everything !

I ended the conversation but it niggles me that she dismissed it straight off, I would have thought if she didnt know a bit of research would have soon cleared it up for her !

Kitten thanks for up dating the list. Just realised there are three of us with the same EDD. I'm sure that will change when we've all had our dating scans though

I'm taking myself off the list as well as I'm 12+5 today. Hadn't been sick since Friday and then felt rough as you like yesterday and was sick last night. Had a full-on cry as I thought I was getting better, I thought I was turning a corner, I'll never feel like me again (imagine all said in a high-pitched crying whiney voice). Anyways, wishing you all lots of luck for your pregnancies!

Doctors simply aren't that interested in pregnancy. From their perspective you're not ill and, let's face it, you'll be fine in 9 months anyway!

Unless you have hyperemesis gravidarum or the pregnancy hormones are making you so psychotic you want to kill yourself, your GP is not going to help.

Hi, I'm a graduate of the trying for a baby thread but wanted to wait a couple of weeks before posting on here. It's starting to feel more real with every day that passes. Think I'm getting the beginnings of morning sickness but it's just mild nausea at the moment and snacking makes me feel better. I'm finding myself really really hungry and it's a weird feeling giving in to hunger and not trying to be 'good' all the time! Don't get me wrong I'm a healthy eater but normally I wouldn't eat bananas for example as they're high GI but stuff it from now on if I fancy a banana or piece of toast I shall have it!

If you can't relax what you eat when pregnant when can you?

I also have nausea at the moment but I am ill with a cold an sore throat so not sure if it is morning sickness or illness. I didn't get sick last time just nausea so it could well be.
