Thanks Emsbet, I'm a little OCD about stuff like that too, and it was bothering me
I'm really near the top! How did that happen?!
Also, I feel amazing. Like, properly normal (except a little bit tired and tubby). I'm 10+4. Is this normal?! I don't know if I should be worried - this is the 'most' pregnant I've ever been.0 -

It's normal for you to start feeling better towards the end of the first trimester.
My ms seems to have all but disappeared the last few days so I've been worrying too but I guess it's normal for symptoms to come and go. I'm also thinking that seeing as this is the 3rd time I've been through the first trimester in 7 months that maybe my body has kind of got used to it and so I don't feel as affected. It's a completely made up theory but it makes me feel better.

There could be something to that Emsbet. Your body remembers, and symptoms do come and go on a daily/hourly/weekly basis so I wouldn't worry too much about the symptoms. (although me saying that is n't going to stop you in any way
)

ThanksI have had a look on the Internet but can't find anything to support my "theory"
I'd feel better of I could.
I was feeling nauseous a week ago but nothing really since the weekend. I'm still tired (fell asleep about 9ish last night) but not as tired. Grrrr  I'm getting cross with myself for worrying. Oh well next scan is Monday so not long to wait

Did you purposefully book your scan for Monday or is it just a coincidence?Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

It's my 8 week scan. They are doing them every two weeks for me so it was booked when we had the last one.

Well I'm 6 weeks today and felt really rough this morning - I'd had a theory that the higher dosage of folic acid I'm on may be responsible for the nausea rather than it being morning sickness this early, but I accidentally forgot to take them yesterday (don't worry, this is the first time and I'll take it today), and I felt even worse this morning than I've ever done so far. The poor kids I was teaching this morning must have thought I was a bit odd, as I was as white as a sheet and very quiet. Luckily I felt better by the afternoon as the children I taught this afternoon were a nightmare! I'm off work tomorrow and Moon and I are going out for lunch (mystery dine) so I'm looking forward to that.
After feeling so bad this morning, and worrying that I may actually have to leave the classroom to be sick (luckily I didn't have to), I decided to tell my agency this afternoon. They were really nice and said that now they know, they will tell the schools when booking me that I'm pregnant so that they can be aware in case I need the loo in the middle of a lesson etc. Hopefully this will also mean that they let me know if there are cases of dangerous bugs before I teach the children (I get the blood results of the slapped cheek syndrome next Friday at my booking in appointment, so hopefully I was immune to it).
Hugs for all who are feeling sick or under the weather.
Congratulations to those who have had their scans and are graduating soon.

Hi all - can i join please?
a wee bit of my background
at the end of last summer my husband and i decided to not try/not prevent getting pregnant - if it happens it happens!!
well i got a positive result on a few home tests last week and calculate i am 5+2 weeks ( i think i have that right - it does mean 5 weeks 2 days doesnt it?)
i have seen my doctor and am due to see midwife on the 13th Feb with my EDD 2nd October.
My husband and i have told no-one yet and in some ways it is frustrating but in other ways it is so exciting having this big secret that only he and i can talk about!!
I must admit though that i am not a girly girl or a gushy baby person and to be honest find the whole expereince rather daunting.
i know it is still early days but not really noticed any differnces excpet the tiredness , oh my god the tiredness!!
i can sleep normally for 6/7 hours and feel refreshed, however at the moment i feel like i am struggling with 10 hours!!
no real nausea or sickness yet just constant mild cramping...anyway that is it for me...look forward to reading everyone else's experiences and wish everyone a healthy happy pregnancy!0 -
