Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

Welcome money puddle. Congratulations If the digi says 2-3 then you are 4-5 weeks pregnant as pregnancy is dated from your first day of your last AF. The cb digi tells you how long since you concieved IYSWIM.

I have my PMA back, been tired this evening, fell asleep for an hour after tea and still tired. Also felt a bit sicky this afternoon

Oh well I guess I'll have to be the one to try the chocolate philly :rotfl:

Hi everyone and the new ladies - moneypuddle, ikkle and izzy. Well i had my 12 week nuchal scan today but it seems I am not leaving you yet as I am now only 11+1. They couldnt measure the nuchal thing as our baby is only 43mm not 45 mm !! So it was a bit disappointing as I was just worried due to what they said. But they said everything is ok, its just younger than we thought. Hubbie thought it was great though, I think he saw more than me. I just felt worried, maybe like I had failed. On the plus side bloods are ok so far and so is the baby and only one, which was a relief. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Have got another scan on 14th Feb, so not long to wait. Midwife was really nice too. jjxx
Have updated list too. As its nearly 10pm, you girls maybe sleeping. hugs xx

hi everyone thought id come and join you now the shock has worn off. i have a DD who is 6 mnths and have just had a BFP by my calculations im 5+1 and EDD is 2nd Oct. we havent told anyone yet and arent going to till after 12 wk scan so its good to have people to tlk to. im going to ring next week to arrange a MW booking in appt which i think will be at 9wks. at the minute my symptoms are mild cramps on and off, nausea, and hunger (i could eat anything and everything lol) lifes going to be tough but so much fun. on the plus side i still have all my maternity stuff lol.

Lots of people have their dates moved back or forward it's nothing to worry about its because they guess your EDD on your LMP before the scan but of course not every woman has the "average" 28 day cycle with ovulation on day 14. If you have longer cycles and/or ovulate later then your dates will be moved back. It also depends on when the egg was fertilised etc.

At my 6 week scan my dates were put back 5 days from what my LMP suggested but I was expecting this because I was tracking my cycles and I know I ovulated on day 18.

Congratulations on a good scan, try not to worry and think of it as getting to see LO again

Moneysavingfamilycomp you have a 6 month old? Goodness, you are going to be busy!

Sexymouse glad to hear your test results for the slapped cheek syndrome were clear. Must be a weight off your mind.

Emsbet chocolate philly? I'm not sure I like the sound of that.

I had my midwife appointment yesterday. I came away clutching a load of leaflets and my pregnancy notes so it is starting to feel very real now. I also have my scan date so will update the list. DH was so happy when I told him about the scan being booked - I think he's more excited than I am, bless him. I have had three EDD's now, online calculators, the doctor and the midwife have all given me different dates. I think I'll go with what the midwife said for now as it's written in my notes but I'm sure it will change when I have the scan.

I've booked to have the flu jab next week too, just to be on the safe side. Is anyone else having/already had it?

Morning, hello to all the other newbies.
I bought some maternity clothes - jumping the gun a bit, but they were all in the Next sale online so MSE. Anyway I ordered loads but quite a few items don't fit!! My boobs are already too big for the dresses, they seemed to be made of quite restrictive fabric. I am keeping a few tops, a pair of white skinny jeans and brown combat trousers, and one dress that will be nice for work.

don't feel bad hun, not everyone has an average cycle where its 28 days long with a 14 day luteal phase.

like me, if i went on lmp my edd is 3rd of oct, but because i temp and used opk's because my cycles were longer i know i ov'd on day Cd20 so my edd is 8th of october x

Same here my EDD is 16th Sept however I am expecting it to be moved to at least 20th Sept at my scan.
