I thought that you have been the calmest rjh and you've bought things!
Thank you. Think I'll ring the docs Friday and ask to see midwife - maybe she can doppler me as I'll be 10 weeks then or maybe she has magic she can pull
Oh, being a student, just spent over 3 hours planning a lesson and writing the bumpf to go with it for an observation tomorrow - hope it goes well but bye bye early night!!

Hey all, glad things are going well for all at the moment.
I am getting more nervous by the day.
We were offered an early scan should we wish however me and OH discussed it and decided that it wouldn't change anything and that we will wait until the 12 weeks however I am not sure that I can wait until March to know if things are ok, especially as I haven't really had any symptoms (normal I know, my symptoms weren't that strong with the boys and was expecting them to be weaker this time)
OH has suggested I ring the midwife to see if we can change our mind for an earlier scan, especially as it is disrupting my sleep but keep changing my mind.
Not sure what I am after but thought I would share my thoughts as we haven't told anyone you and my councillor are the only people I can talk to (not including OH).Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

It's difficult isn't it kitten? As you know we had our first yesterday and are expecting two more before the dating scan. Although it was a relief to see the little heart beating away and know that I haven't just imagined things I also found that afterwards, when it had sunk in I wasn't sure we'd made the right decision to have the scan because as you say the outcome won't be changed but now I know for sure that LO has a beating heart, I've become more attached and it's become harder to carry on with my plan of trying to "ignore" the fact that I'm pg IYSWIM. Having said that we've been told that often having more scans early on can increase the chance of a successful pregnancy (I've read this in various places too) maybe it's down to less stress? I don't know...... sorry I've not been very helpful have I?
For the second night in a row I've had a stressful evening (nothing to do with baby or DH, but other people's problems) and so I haven't got to bed early like I want and need to. I'm going to be exhausted at work tomorrow.

Thanks Emsbet, it good to know it's not just me worrying and changing my mind constantly.
I think it is because we were so close last time and then have had to go back to the beginning that I am worried that it is going to happen again, and if so I want it to happen sooner rather than later so we get our forever baby sooner. Not sure if that makes sense but it does in my head somehow.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Thanks ladies. Will just have to ask DH some questions I reckon because he lives in Wales Mon - Fri and can't get back for Tuesday appointments (we can't afford it...unless its a scan or something big). He's finishing off his PhD and I live in the NW where we are from....although, plan to go down to live with him from the start of the summer holidays (I'm a teacher)Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Also, kitten - what's it like to have twins? The idea freaks me out quite royally - I'd love it at the same time though...just wondering how you coped with the news at first.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

I have been saying this too. If its going to happen then I'd prefer it to happen sooner, then we can maybe look into tests about why it keeps happening. But now I've seen the baby I feel guilty for thinking it.
