Hi CUllumpster. It's pretty normal now not to see a Mw for booking in till 9 weeks or so. We discussed booking in a page or so back, but basically they take blood, ask where you want to have baby, discuss family medical history and give you a pack. THen your next appointment is 16 weeks, after your scan of course, if you have the 12 weeks scan where you are.
And if you have had a CS they usually WANT you to have another so that should be fine. Its ladies who want a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) who often have a fight on their hands.
Oh and don;t worry about pains - usually they are stretching and harmless. But obviously if you get any blood phone your EPU.

Welcome new ladies and congrats to others on reaching your personal milestones along the way
Scan tomorrow morning when I'll be (I think) 13 weeks, feeling nervous, excited and lots of other emotions all rolled into one, haven't had any more spotting touch wood for the past three weeks but there's always that nagging worry there especially as the other symptoms are on the wane, a chill out day infront of the TV and papers to take my mind off it is in order.0 -

Hi Ladies. Can I come & play?
I got my TLP yesterday following our 2nd (first full) and last cycle of ICSI (that looks confusing doesn't it? lol) We've been TTC for 26 months and that is the first time i've ever seen a second line.
It's lovely to see some familiar faces - Gin SO pleased to see you here - your news gave me hope a few weeks ago when I was geeling tired and defeated from all of this and Skintchick! I used to stalk you almost 3 years ago when you were ttc no1 (back before we were ttc and I used to just lurk) ! Sorry to see your news from earlier in the year but so happy to see you here too.
I know it's early and i'm still only seeing a feint line - but it's a line. Ergo i'm pregnant for the first time ever. It's SO hard not to get too excited.
Edited to add - i'm 3+6 today!!!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

welcome ladies, i will be leaving the thread tomorow (again) hopefully this time i will be able to get to the finnish line, im 11+6 today. im so glad to be at this stage with no bleeding yet, especially since i have been pregnant now for six months with only a few days gap from where i lost the last baby, im off for another scan this week (i am fortnightly for the next 3 months then weekly) i want to buy one of those dopplers so i can hear the heartbeat and put my mind at ease. i still look for blood whenever i go to the loo, i imagine that wont stop.0

Thankyou Skintchick. Today i am not feeling very well, i woke up in the night, feeling like i was coming down with something, think its a cold again, i had a cold about three weeks ago and then again on monday, only started to get over the cold on thursday and now feeling ill again. From monday i was feeling quite sick throughout the day, but wasn't sick. Since yesterday i haven't felt as sick as much, which on one hand i am glad about. But its making me worry that there is something wrong.Married 09/09/090

Also when i tested i think that i was 14 days past ovulation, and the clear blue test said 2-3 weeks pregnant. Does this mean that i might have ovulated earlier than i thought. Has anyone else got any experiences with the clear blue tests.Married 09/09/090

Hi Hon... please try not to worry too much about sickness feelings fluctuating. It is really normal for it to come and go fairly dramatically. I felt sick from Day 4, and was sick every day from about week 5, until suddenly around week 9 i wasnt sick, nor felt it for about 4 days, queue MUCH panic! Shoulda just enjoyed the respite, cos on the 5th day, i was back to chucking up again! Many ladies who have passed through the 12 week and 12-24 week thread have posted about the same thing too. Its all about fluctuating hormone levels and they do have surges and plateaus.

No problem hon. Having suffered from sickness alot myself, i'm not glad that you are feeling sick, but hoping that it coming back has reassured you a bit! The period pains are pretty normal too, ranging from sharp pains, to achy crampy or twinges, for me they came and went right through the first tri, and eased off during the 2nd. Now in my 30th week - third Tri, and they are starting to come back!
This whole PG malarky is a bit of a rollercoaster!Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Welcome Sexki11en! Congratulations!! You have found out early - just 3 weeks! You wait, the next nine till your scan will drrraaaaaagggg!
I had another go with my doppler today with a new battery in, and it's working but couldn;t find heartbeatOH thinks I'm worrying over nothing as I am so sick and worn out, but I can;t help but be scared. Don;t think my Gp will listen for the HB at this stage as they say it's too early (which I know should reassure me about me knot being able to find it). I can find the placenta, but can that still work with baby dead? Oh *&*%* I just can;t stop worrying now.
