I'm about 7.5 weeks and have noticed a change in shape already too.

I had my first midwife appointment today, your scan is around 12 weeks so you need your booking appointment before then. Have you contacted your doctor or midwife about it yet?

sucks doesnt it ? you spend ages trying to get here and then feel like an ungrateful !!!!!! when you really arent enjoying it !

I felt really bad with my first, I was only physically sick on a few occasions but the rest was probably worse.

As for the weight, its probably more bloating/water retention than either you or baby. I know i always pee more frequently when i get my period + blood loss + growing baby is probably what you can see ! I still have a pot belly from my last pregnancy but Ive definately noticed my 'bump' has popped out a little.

hope you feel better soon, the worst bits wont last long and its really worth it all

Well we are in the car on the way to our mini holibobs!

Had another tiny amount of dark brown this morning Fingers crossed it's just the same as before.

My belly is definitely sticking out. From my dates I am 13+ weeks but from the early scan I am 12 on sunday. Not sure how accurate the early scan can be as my midwife said before 10 weeks it is not very accurate.

Have a lovely weekend ladies. Weather is meant to be very poor

Fingers crossed for you Emsbet but as its dark brown I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'm struggling with what to drink! I usually drink tea 95% of the time but have obviously had to cut that down massively! I've bought some decaff tea so I can have that most of the time and just have normal tea/coffee if I'm out and about and thats what I'm given but the decaff is just not the same!!! ALso, the water in the hot water boiler at work tastes vile so I'm actually not having any tea at work!!! I'll be back in my own office where we have a kettle instead next week so that'll be better! SO most of the time I'm having cold drinks which I'm just not keen on!! I ahve some lemon and lime squash and also got some vimto squash but I'm really not that into it!!! ANd its FREEZING in here (sodding aircon!) so I'd like nothing more than a lovely big hot cuppa!!!

Was feeling quite icky this morning!! Had to find some bissies to niblle before setting off on the drive to work as I have brekkie when I get here. DOn't feel so bad now....apart from being cold and thirsty!!

I don't think its that accurate, like your MW said, its only really accurate after 10 weeks and only until 13 weeks as after that each baby starts to grow at a different rate, apparently they are all the same size at the same point up until 13ish weeks!!!

Hey all. Just to let you all know, scan went fine, still cannot believe there's a tiny baby in there. He/she gave us a little wave when the sonographer turned the monitor my way. Dated me at 10+1. Very pleased but still worry little one is going to be ok if that makes sense! Bloods and urine all ok too

Mishka how did yours go?
