Glad you managed to get it changed Lisa.
Can you edit the list to take Sammie off as she has graduated now?
Thanks

Hey all! Just checking in. Hope all you ladies suffering from MS fell better soon. I seem to be one of the few who hasn't had any. And now at 10+1 I doubt i will now.
Really looking fwd to tomorrow scan but still terribly nervous about it as I've had hardly any symptoms. What if there is nothing there?
Well only tomorrow scan will tell.
Have a good holiday emsbet.
Hugs to sa-ra-ra-ra and anyone else who needs them xx

Good luck for tomorrow Goppers.
It's totally normal to feel that way. The girl who I sit next to at work said she so convinced they were going to tell her that there was nothing there that she was really shocked when they turned the screen and said "that's your baby". My book says that it is normal to worry that there is no baby as you can't feel it and don't have a bump yet.
Good luck tomorrow too Mishka!
A week on Monday until mine!

Hey guys, been offline with pooter problems, and had a horrible weekend but feeling a lot better now. So sorry to hear about Sa-ra-ra, no consolation but what a brave lady.
Friday night I had bleeding and pain, slept on it (or tried to sleep) and went to the walk in centre on Saturday, they did an examination and booked me in at the hospital for a scan on Tuesday, DH couldn't make it so I was a nervous wreck.
After the longest wait and then seeing all these happy couples with bumps and nearly crying in the waiting area I finally got a scan which showed all was well, I expected the worst but LO showed up as 7 weeks+ which is where it should be, and I got to see the heartbeat which was amazing. I've been in a daze of worry/amazement since then, this is easily the hardest thing I've ever done and no-one tells you about the worry, stress and uncertainty!
Going to make a docs appointment as I'm sure I have thrush, and to chase up my booking in appointment, like the rest of you I've been eating all kinds of things, couldn't say I have cravings, more I'm just really fussy about what I want to eat at the mo! No sickness yet, just nausea so I'm hiding it OK at work.
Ah, all caught up, hope you ladies have a good evening! Roll on the weekend!0 -
Hi All
Hope everyone is well; yippee nearly the weekend
Glad all went well Amymoo
Emsbet sounds like you have a nice little holibob away planned :-)
We are going to stonehenge and avebury next thurs/fri can't wait just a couple of days away.
This forum really is my saviour as it shows me what I am going through is normally
I think Lisa posted yesterday about being hungry then being full and feeling ill - OH bless cooks dinner I tuck in and then have to leave it becasue I feel ill.
I also find that eating stops me feeling ill especially in the mornings.
Lisa I am like you in that I work 30 miles away so although I have the day off next thurs (& Fri) for booking in I think going forward it will get interesting as I don;t want to drive to work to come back to the midwife to drive to work to come home. That would be 120 miles ina day....my head is spinning thinking of it so hoping I can keep the receptionist on side so I can get early/late appointments
Take care all

Hi Guys
Was wondering if anyone had any words of comfort/advice?
Feeling very very low these days, am currently 7 + 1. I seem to be showing a lot already, is this normal?? When I asked my mum she said it was more than likel my weight and not baby weight and I should cut down...hmmm.
Do you get your booking in apointment at 12 weeks?
Also I seem to be quite sick, doesnt really hit in until the evening after i've had my dinner (even if it's something small). I just feel rotten.
This is my first, so not sure what to expect** Ellie **
Now Mrs B :j0 -
Ellie I have found that I have definitely changed shape and have a prominent belly. My clothes have been getting tighter since 7/8 weeks. I think it depends on many things including your body size/shape, how your uterus lies (mine is retroverted - faces backwards- and that makes me think my belly might be due more to a change in diet than baby
), how strong your stomach muscles are, among other things. Try not to worry too much about it.
I think most areas do the booking in between 8 and 10 weeks then scan between 10-14 weeks but I think I read that some areas do both at the same time at 12 weeks.
Hope you feel better soon.
Phunkles I'm sure no one minds you sticking around
Well I'm just having a sit down after getting most of my stuff ready for tomorrow. I'm taking my iPad with me so if there's free wifi I will pop on and see how everyone is and how the scans went.
Right there's a chocolate eclair with my name on it that is must attend to right now
