In my news - I had some bleeding last week, went to the EPU for an early scan and they can't see what they should be able to at this stage (just a sac, rather than anything even vaguely resembling a baby). I've been booked in for a follow up scan next week in case our dates were wrong but the bleeding has gotten worse over the last couple of days, so I'm thinking we're out this time around. Onwards and upwards and all that; and on the up-side we're going on an all-inclusive holiday at the end of next week, which I intend to take full advantage of.

Best of luck to everyone here, hope that the rest of your pregnancies go swimmingly (I'll probably stalk you all anyway, just to see how you're going...). xx

I read somewhere that if you go quite a lot normally then you don't really notice an increase. Also I think it's like all other pregnancy symptoms, some people get it bad, some mild and some not at all.

((hugs)) I've been very emotional recently too. I'll cry at anything and it's most days. I keep having fits of hysterical laughter that turn into sobbing after a couple of minutes!

Thanks I really need to buy some new clothes as mine are too tight already but I'm scared to jinx myself so probably will just suffer with small clothes until after the 12 week scan Only a week and a half to go.

I got a few things in store today, and ordered 3 tops online for £15.75, which I thought wasn't bad. Bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans aswell today, so glad I did, so comfy! Not long til your scan now you must be excited! I've got my big scan, 2 weeks today, I'm far too excited.

I am excited but also equally scared that it will be bad news. Oooo! 2 weeks until the big scan - how exciting! Are you going to find out what team you are on?

It's my birthday next week and I've asked for next vouchers so I can splash out on some decent maternity clothes and not spend anything/much! :money:

You'l be fine you've had your early scan, that should calm you a little bit, I was so convinced at first scan they would say "there's no baby there." Yeah, well we're hoping to, if baby decides to play ball, but everything we've bought so far is beige, cream or white, so I want to start buying colourful things! I've got a strong feeling on what team it is anyway, but we'l see

I got my jeans from Next, they're super comfy, they had a lot of smart clothes too. They definitely have a better selection online, so if you can order to store I'd do that.

Sararara, so sorry to hear your news. It sounds like you're doing a good job of thinking positive which is more than I would be able to do!!!

Emsbet, I know you're a few weeks ahead of me but I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one increasing in size already!! I deffo have a small bump already!! I know its not bloating or weight gain as its a different shape and I can see it in the morning when my tummy is usually pretty flat. Won't be purchasing any maternity clothes just yet though, like you I'll wait until after my 12 week scan. I'll deffo need stuff sooner rather than later though as I don't have anything in bigger sizes that I can use at the inbetween stages, I binned all my bigger clothes when I lost weight.

You'll have to let us know if your feeling was right! A girl I sit next to at work is having here baby in November, she's team blue and said she new that they were going to tell her that, so maybe you'll be right!

I work in Manchester and they have quite a big Next in the Arndale so I'm going to look in there, try on sizes and if I can't find what I want I will order from their website.

I've been struggling to get into my normal clothes for a few weeks now but I don't want to get anything non-maternity in a bigger size as that seems like a waste so I'm going to go straight into maternity clothes when I've had the thumbs up from the scan, even if it means having to wear stuff that's a bit big for a while.
I'm also going to stock up on leggings too - nice and cheap
