Ive just got my scan date through, snap Gopppers mine is the 16th too !

When I had my booking in appt my midwife requested another thyroid test and told me if there is any concern my letter with my scan date will also include a consultants appt. - which it has so I guess they do want to monitor me a little bit more closely. I will be 13 weeks exactly at the time of the scan so it should be a nice clear one :j

Hope all are well, Nicki any more bleeding ? How are you feeling ?

How are you doing today Nicki?

I've been munching on sweets for the past couple of days because I constantly have a yucky taste in my mouth. Today's sweets are Jelly Babies and I think I've already munched half a (big) pack!

My boss now knows that I am pregnant as I had to tell him why I was off friday and didn't want to lie really. So he has told the Chief Exec and HR. I have also told the girl I sit next too (who is about 7 months pg) but I am not going to tell anyone else until after our scan which is three weeks today!

I'm busy knitting a blanket that I started 4 or 5 years ago! Its progressed much faster since I got my BFP! I didn't do any on Fri or sat though as I was just too tired! I have wool ready for a couple of cardigans too and my mum is going to do another blanket and some cardigans. MIL crochets so she's going to do some stuff to. I love to see newborns in hand knitted stuff!

I'm feeling vaguely Human today! Still a bit off my food (for me anyway!), DH is taking me out for a meal tonight so hopefully I'll be able to find something I fancy, the ordering will be the hard part, once I get the food in front of me I can eat it and enjoy it no problem, its just deciding what I actually fancy thats the issue!!

Have you got a date for your booking in appointment yet Lisa? I'll be six weeks tomorrow :j but they havent rang me back yet? I dont want to call them because I know how over worked Midwives are. Guess I should leave it maybe another week and a half and if I still havent heard from them maybe call them?

Felt a bit sick this morning and my tummy is feeling a bit AF like so the little fella must be making some more space in there

hi all been to the docs today and he is putting me in for an earlier scan so i can be exact on my dates. ( may sound confusing but my last period wasnt very heavy and was really just spotting, i didnt need a tampon it was that light so i maybe further on then i think!! looking at what others have said too sometimes you can get spotting when pregnant)

any way so great news for me if i get a scan done earlier and i will know for sure!!:j

also i feel so much worse then last time, im feeling so sick all the time, can hardly eat never mind cook for the famly and iv got no energy at all!! i also feel bloated and i have that stretching feelin down there which last time i didnt even know til 7 weeks and felt fine til 8 weeks. anyone else feel this bad at 5 weeks??

Bad news for us I'm afraid. Scan this morning showed I am miscarrying. Am booked in for an ERPC tomorrow. Please could someone take me off the list.

Sorry to bring the thread down. Good luck to everyone and best wishes for a happy and healthy 6+ months.

We are upset but trying to focus on our existing healthy children.

Big hugs to Nicki, so sorry to hear your news. I'm especially glad now that your hubby decided not to go away, make sure he looks after you (I'm sure he will though!)

I thought I was 6 weeks on Sat but we have the same due date so perhaps I'm wrong. I thought I needed to count back 2 weeks from when I Ov'd due to having a longer cycle than 28 days.

I have my booking appointment on the 15th (a week on Thurs) but I got that when I saw the practice nurse on Friday to register at my surgery. She just went into the system and booked me in there and then. Our practice only has 1 midwife and she is only actually in the surgery for appointments 1 morning a week so bearing in mind I work over 30 miles away its a bit of a nightmare....the only appointment I could get was for 11am!

How long is it since you rang them? If it's been more than a few days I'd ring them again, it doesn't take that long to stick an appointment in a diary!

My tummy is also feeling a bit AFish today....funny that we have the same symptom at the same time!
