Less than 12 weeks pregnant club! 2

I'm not sure mines enough to be called morning sickness yet! It's just that i get full to the point of feeling sick quicker!!!
I wish I had more symptoms, I'm getting to the stage where I think I imagined it all! Part of me wants to do another test but I daren't incase its negative!!! Its only 6 weeks today since the first day of my last period and I've had cycles longer than that so I'll be happier in another week when I'm past my longest cycle time if that makes sense?!
I'm currently knitting a blanket....that I started about 4 or 5 years ago! Funnily enough I've made more progress with it in the last week and a half than the last few years all put together!! Today I bought wool to knit 2 cardigans. Mum is going to knit another blanket and also start on the cradigans too. I love hand knit stuff for babies!
I haven't bought anything yet, other than a gorgeous blanket that I bought whilst TTCing. I will be waiting until after the 12 week scan too.
I'm the same - I don't feel like I'm having 'proper' symptoms, I'm just feeling more of everything - more hungry, more thirsty, boobs more sore, more tired etc. But I'm not feeling pregnant. Just a bit rough. I woke up this morning feeling like I had a hangover, as I'm not sleeping too well either.
I have been playing on lots of baby websites since we found out, and looking on Freecycle (there are loads of moses baskets on there!) but I'm not going to start gathering until we're past the 12wk scan. My best friend had a baby last year and lent me her book 'your pregnancy week by week' which I'm really enjoying as it's quite medical and I like to know all the facts about things!
I got home today and I've got a letter with my scan date in it (17th October! Hurrah!) but weirdly, I've not had my booking in appointment yet AND my scan is at a different hospital to the one I asked to be referred to. EDIT: OK, they're not even part of the same hospital group. I'm so confused.0 -
Hi ladies, you may remember me complaining last week that i had to wait ages for my scan, well i rang the ultrasound clinic up and told them i couldn't make that date- all of a sudden they gave me one a week earlier! So very pleased about that.
I too love the surf and the icandypeach, but probs only have a budget of £300 for my pram so never get one of those! I have already bought a moses basket, baby swing, bouncer, some nappies,, 8 packs of wipes, johnsons box full of goodies, steriliser, bottles, blankets, travel bottle warmer, milk pods, breast pads. I was given changing mats, a bath and top and tail bowl so alls thats left now is lots of pink or blue clothes, a pram and some towels oh and a breast pump. I love baby shopping, maybe started a bit earlier but couldnt resist.Mummy of a beautiful little boy and fanatical about christmas:xmassmile:snow_laug:santa2:

Not sure where you are but Kiddicare in Peterborough is meant to be good.
Will check out freecycle:)
Yeah Peterborough isn't too far, I am just outside of Cambridge. Will definately have to give that a go0 -
Helllooo Girlies
I have had 2 days off, as we get a discretionary bank hol, been lovely and do not want to go back 2moroemsbet, feel a little like you did and want to cry!!!! I cried at bridget jones yesterday because mark darcy seems like such a nice man!!!:rotfl:how pathetic!
I have bought a few bitsI am 12 weeks now though, although my scan isnt until I am nearly 14. I bought the tommee tippee bottles from morrisons, the little milk powder containers that go in them, a winnie the pooh blanket from asda and some johnsons baby bath etc....only because it was all on offer obvs lol
I looooveee the silver cross surf but my OH doesnt like it at all, he only likes the 3D or the icandy. I cant justify buying a icandy so I think we will go for the 3D, will wait a few months though for another offer to come about.
I dont feel pregnant tbh, feel tired, achy and emotional. I am def putting weight on though, not too keen on that as I just look tubby!!! I hope you are all doing ok, I cant wait for my scan, it seems aggges away though.

Morning ladies! I slept terribly last night. We'd been at MIL's and I woke up at 2am to go to the loo then laid awake for hours worrying about her expectations of how this baby will be brought up. SHe was tellingme how DH was potty trained by 18months etc etc and I'm sure she's going to expect me to be super mum with the perfect child!! ANd she keeps insisting its a girl as she is desperate for one so I just know she'll be disappointed if its a boy.....tough look though!
I also had quite a crampy tummy and achy hips and just couldn't get comfy, when I did fall asleep I had a horrible dream that I'd started bleeding and I couldn't get a doctor to see me as I'm in the process of changing!! SO I'm feeling a bit on edge about it all this morning. It just seems like there's soooooo long to go till someone can tell us everything is going ok!
On a positive note, I also had an extended bank hol as we get Tuesday off too so today is my first day at work this week!0 -
Woke up this morning to a small amount of bleeding
. I have no pain, other than the normal niggles, and my morning sickness and sore boobs are still here, but still feeling a bit on edge. I have had spotting in my other pregnancies and been fine so trying to stay positive but I am very aware that at 42 the odds of a successful outcome are much reduced. I'm only 5+ 2 so too early for a scan, so just need to wait and see. I'm going to try to take things easy today, though kids aren't back at school yet so I have all 3 at home with me and even the older ones don't know I'm pregnant so no concessions to fragility. Have been on mad knickers check already though!

((hugs)) Nicki.
Hopefully it's just like your other pregnancies. Try and rest and maybe see if you can get yourself booked in for a scan next week.

Hello all!! Not posted properly this week as I've been quite busy at work... and I don't think it's going to let up!
Anyways im 8 weeks today :j:jI am 5 weeks today so maybe its just a bit too early? I am totally impatienet too, already seen LOADS of stuff I would like to get the baby, even decided what pram/pushchair I would like (Slivercross Surf) but wont be able to get anything for months yet just in caseThat being said I was very naughty on Saturday and bought an I love Daddy sleep suit from Next
Hi laura, as you can see I'm 8 weeks and not really had ANY symptoms. Apart from feeling a little hungrier, spottier and [STRIKE]lazier [/STRIKE] sleepier!! I've not had ANY morning sickness and am really worried about my scan coming up in just over a couple of weeks - i'm petrified that i too am imagining the whole thing but i suppose everyone is different some ppl get symptoms and other don't.
I've been secretly poas just to make sure i am pregnant as well
We also have been looking at pushchairs/prams and stuff and OMG
I dont have a clue!! Will need to research a little before buying I've seen so many, i'm just blinded by the choice and prices of them. But hey-ho we still have 7 months to get that sorted lol
No weight gain here, just the same and no big belly but all that is to come, I am feeling a little uncomfortable about having a bump, I think I will feel quite concious(sp?) of it.
Hugs to nicki, hope your bleeding has stopped and your bean is ok xx
Gops xx
PS was sammie due to have her scan today??
