Cool, lots of form filling and family history questions, perhaps a chance to note things down in the meantime?
I was asked about family history, any operations, allergies etc etc
You also get a PILE of stuff to take home and read - most of it you'll know anyway just by being on here and reading what others have posted but always good for the odd nugget!
I've got a questionnaire about family history and I'm guessing they go into more detail depending on my answers. The appointment is 45 mins which is a lot shorter than I thought (I'm sure I read they can be up to 2 hours) not that I'm complaining as that's a better amount to have to take out of work.

They asked me loads about any kind of illnesses which run in the family etc, the only one that took a little extra time was one quest as my dad was a twin but the twin was a stillborn
I suppose it would depend on your answers as to how long it takes.

I have to take a few hours off anyway because my work is about 30 train journey away. Luckily it's at 9:30 so it should work out ok.

Morning all
Well my tiredness has eased a bit, the sickness feeling has stopped and the uncomfortableness lying on my tummy has gone too. Slightly worried, only 8 weeks so wouldn't have thought the symptoms should go yet. Anyone else advise? I had a scan last friday and all was good so shouldn't really worry should i. The feeling of not wanting a brew and not wanting chocolate is still here though lol so i guess i must just be having a good day.
Sorry to witter on.
Thanks sunshine i will check my contract.

My symptoms have a habit of coming and going and I think unless you are bleeding and in pain that you shouldn't worry (easier said than done I know)
I woke up yesterday in a bit of a panic as my boobs weren't sore and I didn't feel sick (this was made worse by the fact that I had a dream that we lost our beanie) but then later in the day they both came back and I felt sick for most of the day!

Thanks emsbet for your reassurance. I know we shouldn't worry. It's just for me that I had a mmc and didn't have an idea that bean had stopped growing at 8 weeks, didn't find out til i had my scan at 12 weeks. No pain no bleeding, so i kind of always think back to that.
Glad your symptoms came back - we are terrible really, not happy with feeling good.
Anyway I will stop worrying as I have been like this all through, good days and bad days.

It is difficult not to worry about the same thing happening when you have previously had a mc.
I'm terrible for it as with mine I didn't have a lot of bleeding or pain (not as much as I would have expected but maybe that was because I wasn't that far along) and as I've had some minor spotting and brown CM (just once every few days) I worry everytime I see it that it's a sign of something bad.
I'm trying not too worry too much for the sake of our little bean as I know there is little I can do.
Hope you feel more positive soon

Goodluck for a healthy and happy pregnancy chick.
I feel ok, not negative but just have concerns if you get me. x0 -

Thanks, you too.
I completely understand what you mean. That's why I love this thread (and the TTC when I was on there) as you can get support from lots of people and also know that you're not the only one who feels the way you do
I think it's time for a group hug
