    Hey

I've had a few stitch like pains when I've moved quickly etc - I think they're just stretching ligament pains - nothing to worry about - although I know easier said than done. When I turn over in bed, I sometimes get a sharp pain low in my abdomen which winds me for a short while.

My m/w said not to forget that everything is moving around in your abdomen to make room for the growing uterus - thinking of how much stuff there is in there, it's bound to feel uncomfortable at times!

As long as it's not prolonged and accompanied with bleeding, you'll be fine. :)

    xDx

Thank you so much ddebski, I really appreciate it. I try not to worry just can't help it at times!

I know, every now and then I have a wobble. Think maybe it's all in my head. Doesn't help that it's coming up to the time I started to bleed last time either.

But, in the evening, I can feel a hard bump above my pubic bone. I have aches and twinges and I've missed 2 AFs. I am defintiely preggers. Worrying over. For now. :p

Just had my first MW appt. I've got a sore arm now from all the blood but i need an extra one as I haven't had chickenpox before and she wants to test my immunity, but she didn't have a tube for it. That's another blood tube for me tomorrow :(

She said, "I'll be with you from today till you have that baby in your arms". I had such a rush of hormones when she said that! I was grinning from ear to ear!

I've been lurking on this thread (and the previous one) for about 5 weeks now, I'm 11 weeks today. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who's posted - this is my first time being pregnant and this thread has been so helpful in reassuring me that everything I've been feeling over the past few weeks is entirely normal... e.g. perpetual "hangover" feeling, ridiculous tiredness... a couple of times I've felt like I'm dealing with it really badly and it's been such a relief to know that plenty of others have the odd day where they get into bed at tea time! Quite frankly I'm amazed that there are people out there who actually enjoy being pregnant, but I'm hoping i'll reach that stage soon, if and when the nausea disappears! (hoping i'm not one of the "unlucky ones").

Oh and also the not being able to eat anything other than plain stuff like pasta or potatoes (my current fave is cereal), I was a bit worried about not having a very varied diet at the moment, but it seems like plenty of others are having the same issues. I bought some frozen fruit last night and had a smoothie this morning, first time I've been able to face fruit for a long time and it was actually delicious, though it did take me an hour and a half to drink!

So anyway, just wanted to say thanks girls, you've been so helpful, I don't really have a big network of female relatives with whom I can discuss stuff and I don't want to tell my friends until I've had the first scan and know for sure that everything's ok.

Oh and also the chat about shotgun weddings has been good too, I'm due to get married in April, I will be 21 weeks then. It was organised in October, before "the deed was done" so isn't really a shotgun wedding, but we were having a really private ceremony with just immediate family and so didn't really tell many people, so now it looks to anyone who wasn't in the know like it's been hastily arranged! Plus, we had arranged to throw a big garden party to celebrate getting hitched for wider family and friends in July as we have friends travelling over from Australia and that was the only time they could come - that's now going to be a whole new kettle of fish since I will be 7 months gone by then!

Hello thetope. If you haven't got a big female family/friendship circuit, you'll love this forum.
Everyone here is so nice and it stops me stressing every time I have a little twinge and there are so many people on here who have the same thing!

Also, if I get too wrapped up in baby world, no one on here minds because we're all in the same boat. If I mentioned to my friends every time I though about the baby, they'd be fed up of me by now but that isn't the case here.
Good to have you on board too.

    Hi all,

Well had a good few days ms wise - no heartburn, cramps, nausea or anything else for two whole days - other than the fact I'm in bed by 9pm every night but I'll take the tiredness any day!

Got my scan appointment through today :j 17 March so I'll be exactly 13 weeks :j Sooo can't wait and OH is booked too so he's not in Scotland missing it all! Feel like doing a dance!

Off to Slimming World now - what will a week of nothing but crisps, potato waffles & cold oven chips have done? Not a single piece of fruit & only a bit of carrot last night.... :rotfl:
