Morning ladies
Am into double figures - 10 weeks today!! :j:j:j:j Scan is 2 weeks today!! Woo-hoo!!
Am shattered today - yesterday I started work at 7:30am, worked through to 6pm, then I had a work quiz until 10pm - and now I'm already back at work.So tired - think all I might do tonight is zzzzzzzzz. Hoping today wizzes by.
Loumac - I *always* faint when having blood taken as my veins are skinny and normally they don't get it first time round. My m/w and all the people at the hospital (last time were great) - just tell them you're likely to faint and they'll get to you lie down when they do it - let's face it, you fainting on them just makes their job harder so in their interest for them to stop it happening!!
Littlegem77 - welcome to the thread!

Other than that (and sorry for any posts I've missed - internet police again!), TFIF!!! :rotfl:

Can't believe how long your hours are. I thought I had it bad as am out the house from 7.30 til 7 but that includes an hour and a half traveling each way. It's a nightmare! I am exhausted too. Roll on the weekend!0 -

Usually I work 7:30am to 4pm, but had to stay later for the quiz. It's not too bad normally, but the early starts of 5:30am to walk the dog can be a killer!!!

oooh - good luck!
Expect forms to fill in and possibly peeing in a bottle. Takes about an hour.
Your m/w will be well experienced with taking blood and so it should be ok - just explain your nervous.

I didn't have blood taken at my booking in appt either, and I'd psyched myself up too! I had a really bad experience with getting blood taken while my hcg levels were being tracked so I was petrified. Wish it had been done as it would be over now. It will be done at my scan apparently. I'm 7+5 today, had another scan on Tuesday at 7+2 after some brown discharge and small amount of red blood last Friday. Everything was fine thank goodness, good growth and strong heartbeat. Brown discharge started up again last night though so I'm panicking like mad. I have no bad cramps or anything, and no red blood so far, but I just wish I didn't have this discharge to worry about, I feel like I'm just not destined to have a good pregnancy :-(
Happy Friday everyone.0 -

Hugs to you! Sorry to hear you are feeling like that. I cant imagine how stressful and worrying it must be. Touch wood the only thing I have had so far is some mild cramping and MS.
I hope things start going a bit more smoothly for you.
7 + 5 for me today, MS was awful this morning but doesnt seem to be lasting all day anymore - which is a bonus I guess! Got a huge bruise on my arm from where the blood was taken

I'm also feeling rubbish today, had my great uncle's funeral this morningso DH and I have been out for a walk on the coast to blow away the cobwebs this afternoon - I forget how lucky we are to be in Cornwall sometimes.
Have got a very rare weekend off, just got DS's football tomorrow morning and then he's off to granny's to be spoit rotten so I'm looking forward to lots of sleep, orange squash and hot baths
Take care all xxxx0
