Hi everyone! Glad to see I'm not the only one shattered! I'm sure I never had this with number 1! Or sickness, the whole 9months was heavenly! I'm seriously paying for that this time, always tired, grumpy cow! Also can't regulate my temperature, when I get cold I'm freezing, properly shaking, then I get somewhere warm, I'm burning up. My OH said I was too hot to touch (yeah baby!)
Also I'm 6+3 and had thrush on&off for 5weeks of this. Dr gave me pessary 2wks ago, it went & now back. Also cystitus. I normally get thrush maybe every other year? And havnt had Cystitus since a child. Everything hurts & espec when I sit down. Is this common? Because I'm run down? Don't want to nag Dr or take too many drugs. Already on Anti-bi's for tooth infection!

yes it is common.. some women have thrush right the way through. Go back to GP, reduce sugar in your diet, a spoonful of natural yoghurt (you can try eating some as well if you can stomach it) and wash down below well at least 2-3 times a day. pee when you need to and if it doesn't clear up after seeing the doc again ask about the tablets for thrush . I found the canesten cream was better than the pessary.. might be worth a try.

Antibiotics you are likely to be given for cystitis can cause thrush as well

ecoelle.. 12 week scan.. they measure the length of the baby's femur and head circ. and top of head to bum. and make sure the heart is beating. .. that's it usually occasionally they do a doppler trace of the heart but you rarely get to hear it. And you do not need a bladder full to bursting!

I know!!! I live on junk food and have 3 sugars in my many cups of tea each day (3/4 - pint mug!)

Failing everything else I have a good friend who is a homeopath if you'd like her details I am more than happy to pass them on!.. She is fabulous at curing thrush and very inexpensive!!

Hi all i'm 11+6 today and have my first scan Monday, i had a small bleed yesterday but rang the midwife and she said not to worry and that 50% of women bleed at some point in their pregnancy, i couldn't believe it was that high! Well i'm trying not to panic, i still feel pregnant, sore bo-obs, dizzy, sick, so i guess everything should be ok. I am worried but i'm trying not to let it take over. I guess we'll find out Monday if everything is ok. What happens at teh first scan? It's my first pregnancy and i don't know what to expect at the scan, do you get to hear the heartbeat at the 12 week scan?

Hope all is well out there in Bump land, hugs to you all, x

I didn't hear the heartbeat but I know some places allow you to hear it.

ilf, I went to the docs on day of bfp and she said well done, take folic acid, eat sensibly, bye! Midwife called me on Wednesday (8 days after going to docs) and I have appt at home on Sunday. Can you ask for the chance to speak to someone before then as I can imagine it must be very worrying. xx

I will try to wait it out :) I am so impatient - this is going to be a long 9 months :)

Yes this is my first, I was trying for 4 years with my ex even had fertility treatment and nothing worked, so to be with my b/f for 10 months and on the pill and just fall pregnant was a huge shock.
I have been feeling so sick and tired all week but they seem to had subsided today which i am a little bit concerned about but fingers crossed.
I am going to make my doctors appointment this week and just hope the next 6 weeks go smoothly and quickly.
Hope everyone else is feeling good
