Hi ladies,
Well I had my appointment at the doctors this afternoon - I was sooo nervous but I have to say he was lovely. Congratulated me & then gave me a leaflet. He filled in the referral to the midwife & confirmed I'm 4+4 with EDD 22 October.
Then he listened to my breathing & felt my tummy/abdomen as I said I get little cramps like AF so he had a feel and said there was nothing to worry about.
Soooo excited!! He said I should have my scan date in about 5 weeks or so & should gear in next 3 weeks. Cannot wait. Am praying everything will be ok
My boobs feel less sore today although still pee-ing like a trouper!!

Evening everyone,
Had my booking in appointment today, got lots of stuff to read hrough now! And my arm really hurtsreally how much blood do they need off me?!
Another day of feeling sick, but not as bad as the last few days so thats a bonus I guess!
Midwife said I should get a letter through with scan appointment soon, very excitingBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

But, in the evening, I can feel a hard bump above my pubic bone. I have aches and twinges and I've missed 2 AFs. I am defintiely preggers. Worrying over. For now.
xDx
That's so lovely that you can feel a bump. Yep, no worrying sounds like the best plan (I've worried so much today and been so emotional I need to give it a rest! I even did another test tonight purely out of worrying, I'll drive myself mad at this rate!)
Im sorry to hear about your loss last time, I didn't realise, I can't imagine how you must have felt. Very happy for you that things are going well this time round, when you say you've missed two AF's it makes it sound so much more real doesn't it
Thanks for your advice again, Im going to listen to it now, go for a nice long bubble bath and relax and just enjoy being pregnant xx0 -

Too much thread and too little time!
Sorry Bella to hear your family news. Also sequeena (sp) sorry to hear about your friend.
(((HUGS))) to anyone else who needs/wants them.
Today's definitely been my worst day so far. Felt shattered and achy all day and when driving home from work had to pull over as I was dry wretching, got home and was sick sick sick! Struggled through my dinner (pasta and veg) and have sat moping since, going in and out of waves of sickness.
Congrats to all those getting new news and scan dates etc. I've got first midwife appointment on Sunday but am now anxious to think about giving blood - I have a tendency to faint!!
As a teacher I break up for half term tomorrow so can't wait for a week of being able to sleep!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Loumac - At my booking appointment she asked if I have any problems when giving blood like fear, sickness, fainting. Maybe if you say yes they get you to lie down or something. I don't faint for blood samples but just don't like to look as am very squeamish. The midwife was really nice and understanding.0

It is, all feels abit more real after seeing the midwife todayI dont faint for blood samples but just don't like to look as am very squeamish. The midwife was really nice and understanding.
Agreed, I told midwife about hating to have blood taken. She was really good and made sure the trainee midwife who was in with us kept me talking, asking questions and generally trying to keep me distracted. If they know your fears, they are likely to be very understandingBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
