I think most midwives are quite encouraging of weightloss plans if your BMI is a little on the high side. I think SW, as diets go, does allow you to be more sensible (in terms of still getting the right nutrients for baby) than perhaps some other diets. Obviously speak to your midwife first - with SW being a big name it is quite likely they will have an opinion on it.

Been at home today resting, and overheating! Decided to go and sit in a cool bath about an hour ago to cool off. Not a good plan! Just settling in and starting to feel the benefit, when a small cat bundle leapt in with me, thinking it was empty as usual, and got a BIG shock! Immediately tried to run up the end of the bath to escape and couldnt, so was frantically scrabbling. I had to launch myself forward to grab him, grab the towel put aside for me, bundle him in it and hold him till he calmed down! Poor little bu**er. a very soggy cat! Fortunately he is a little monkey and very curious, so was purring and wanting down for another look pretty quickly!

On another note, i had a dream about joseph and the amazing technicolourdreamcoat last night, so decided to watch it on Youtube today, Talk about ridiculous pregnancy hormones, got the bit where the brothers pitched up in egypt, and i was blubbing like a good un.

Not been sick today, but felt hot and sick all day. Hoping to persuade dh to make me something nice for dinner, as i cant face the kitchen today!

Hi Everyone,

Just got back from seeing my best friend who is absolutely fascinated at the size of my big belly I really wish I knew how to get a pic on here it really is sticking right out and I look way more pregnant than I am and I'd really love to show you guys because it doesn't look fat just nicely rounded !

Anyone else got a really big tummy ? On a bright note today has been a good day sickness wise and still haven't actually thrown up ! Despite feeling sick on many occasions not eating a great deal still but I'm not overly concerned about that just keep trying little and often is the way forward

My boobs have seriously ballooned over night, I had F's to start with, I can't see my feet

Think my belly may be growing abit, was cuddling my OH earlier and could feel my belly touching his.

Posting on behalf of DD who is 10+6 , she has asked me a few questions that I don't have the answer to,so hope you can answer. When do you get the pregnacy glow as she has broken out in spots and does the fact that she is thin (probably slightly underweight) mean she will show earlier as she has already outgrown most of her jeans & has a definite bump? Scan is booked for 11/7 when she'll be 13 weeks but she only guessed her lmp date as she wasn't trying (family failure) so didn't make a note of it
