I know, it just makes me feel so stupidI suspect the long waits for my docs appointment, booking in etc are helping to fuel it. Once I've seen the midwife and had my scan I think I'll feel alot better. 10 weeks tomorrow

Off on holiday in a weeks time so hopefully I can keep it secret from my work colleages until I get back - will be just over 10 weeks then. However any suggestions as to how I can refuse to drink alcohol (without them getting really suspicious), when we're all going out on Tuesday evening for a G&T, would be much appreciated!
I have been 'dieting' because if i have a drink i will eat lots and I'm 'allowing' myself chips by not having the beer...
i've been very ill at work tho, so that is being blamed on IBS - so again not drinking whilst my stomach settles...0 -
Good Morning
start of another week, and 10 weeks for me today!
Hope you are all well and all the morning sickers aren't feeling too bad. My maternity stuff that I'd ordered with the 45% off at DP's came today, it seems huge :eek:The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -

Morning:) Have had a look at the DP maternity stuff. Some nice things there:T
I didn't order anything fancy, just some black trousers and a t shirt. I managed to get both for £20.20 deliveredbut that was with codes. They have some beautiful dresses and things but don't know if I could justify them.

Dorothy perkins are big sizes.. I tend to have to buy a size smaller than other shops because they are so big.. not just maternity ranges but the entire stock.. makes you feel thin thoughLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

See I tried the trousers on and they're not exactly baggy at the legs, but unsure how much weight I'd actually put on in that area in the coming months. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Hey everyone,
Hope everyone is well and welcome to all the newbies......
Emmylou - where did you get all the energy to do all those chores yesterday. I need to sit down after just reading your list.
I've been having some terrible hayfever over the weekend. I usually take tablets every year, but haven't thing year as we were ttc. Rang midwife today and she said piriton was fine to take, and that I could ask if the pharmacy would recommend anything else. He said he couldn't recommend or sell me anything until I'd seen the gp, even though I told him I had rang the midwife.
Thankfully, the gp squeezed me in an hour later, prescribed a nasal spray and some eye drops and said if it's not better in a few days to move over to Piriton. What a farce :rotfl:
Still having lots of nausea, but still no sickness thankfully! We're 8+5 now, so it does feels like we're getting closer to the 12 week mark. No sign of the scan date coming through yet, but I'm sure it'll be here soon.TTC #3..........0
