I'm terrified about being a mum, I am only 24 and my boyfriend 25. The baby wasn't planned quite the opposite...we had a contraception problem and I then took the morning after pill the next day but I'm still pregnant. Both of our families are completely supportive it's just a very scary prospect having not planned for it. We are happy about it just very worried about what the future holds.

Hello ccaffull :) I was the same as you, I'm 23, and our baby wasn't planned either, we had a little 'accident' so it seems. At first I was terrified too, and set against the idea but we had a good talk and I thought things through, and now I'm slowly getting more and more excited about the idea, and even though it's still terrifying (money worries etc) I think it was more the initial shock.

I haven't been on for a little while, was at my parents all weekend. Told them both, mam was chuffed as predicted, I think my dad was secretly really happy too which wasn't predicted :D Feels like a lot of weight off my shoulders just to be able to talk to them about it so I'm glad I did :)

Ditto. Even though you know mentally that bleeding is likely not significant, it's hard to not think the worst.

    Hope all is well.

no more blood last night or this morning. I think it was just a tiny bit of spotting but i think it will play on my mind til i have the scan.... hurry up scan appointment.

I feel sick again today which i guess could be a good sign...

Hi girls. Haven't been able to come on here for a few days, just been feeling so terrible. Have either spent my time in bed or on the sofa since last Friday. Physically can't do anything. Thought I was getting a little better on Monday but seemed to go back a step yesterday. Was signed off work this week by Dr but can't see me getting any better by next week at this rate. Not managing to eat or drink much (my whole life I have been someone who barely drinks as it is so finding this very hard!)

I.feel faint, heartbeat racing, dizzy etc....I'm not feeling so sick atm though. I'm going to try my hardest to have more fluids today and that should help. :o
