Thanks for your support. I went through a stage of mainly eating toast but now I'm onto cereal and not the good kind....I ate a whole box of cheerios over the weekend and for dinner last night had curiously cinnamon :s I use to love Pizza but I am completely off that (much to my partners disappointment). I am managing salad and fruit so I just keep eating plenty of that, drinks are OK I keep swapping between different squashes as I seem to 'go off' one for a while and then off another etc.

I'm terrified about being a mum, I am only 24 and my boyfriend 25. The baby wasn't planned quite the opposite...we had a contraception problem and I then took the morning after pill the next day but I'm still pregnant. Both of our families are completely supportive it's just a very scary prospect having not planned for it. We are happy about it just very worried about what the future holds.

    MORNING!!

Well, My stomach has decided to BLOAT - I'm still same weight but none of my jeans etc fit me so spent yesterday in town trying to find some clothes. Mum convinced me to buy Maternity Jeans - she says theres no real point in just buying normal jeans as they wont fit for long (i can see her point) so i ended up with 1 pair of jeans and 1 top. The clothes i had from previous pregnancy dont fit (in the slightest!) but i figure they will soon.

Morning sickness has well and truely kicked in - Poor DD has been a witness to this and is now playing nurse lol

Tiredness is easing up a bit - but then i am at work today so may just ZZZZZzzzzzzzzz be bored lol

I am now 7 weeks and 3 days (I keep thinking im further ahead than i am!)

Ccaffull - I had my first at 23, OH was 24, its scary being responsible for another little person BUT it is one of the best things i have EVER done. You wont regret it :) (P.S - WHAT is the newbie thing about?! New MSE thingy-ma-jig?)

    Hope your all well

I had my 5th shortly after my 25th birthday! It is a piece of cake.. dealing with dads is harder than looking after the baby!

    morning all,

    Glad you are okay mimi!

I am loving the freebies at the moment. is there a thread for baby clubs etc you can join? Can someone post a link i looked but couldnt find one.
In the front of the bounty your pregancy book is a coupon for a packet of free newborn nappies (27 nappies) went to tesco to get mine and the voucher took the nappies off then some money off my shopping as the nappies are on offer.

Then joined the ADSA club and got a free huggies box from instore. 27 newborn nappies, a pack of wipes and a hat plus some £2 off vouchers. At the moment thier newborn box is reduced to £3 from £5 and i printed 2 coupons so got 2 boxes for free and £4 off my shopping! Could have got another box for free. Going to get 2 more boxes with the £2 coupons! (plus 2 cash!) then i will get 2 more £2 off vouchers.... i wonder how many newborn nappies i need?

Squeak was 6lb 14oz.. we used 4 packs of size 1 nappies (small packs not double ones), 3 double packs of size 2, 4 double packs of size 3 and have been in size for a few months now..

Don't get too many tiny ones!

The shops always have nappy offers and are always open!... plus one style might not fit your baby properly.

When do you get a pregnancy book with a bounty voucher in it?? It's only been 3 years since i was last pregnant-but things are being done differently this time around at my clinic it seems. I did get a book-but no bounty voucher in it. Or do you only get them with baby number 1?

You get them everytime you have a baby. the midwife gave me pack on. not sure if the book was in it or seperate she gave me loads of stuff! She gave me pack on and two.

My DD1 was 8lb 1oz so i guess she wasnt in them for long. i will get as many free ones as i can. i can always donate them to the hospital or give them to someone if they dont get used.
