I am 24 and found out I was pregnant about 3 weeks ago. I am now 9weeks pregnant and terrified, this is my first post to a forum about it just need to talk to other people in my situation. My scan is on the 9th June...feels so far away :s I am nauseous 24-7 and although I haven't been sick I am really struggling to eat properly.

    Welcome ccaff,

I am in your boat sort of! i am 8 weeks pregnant and been feeling sick for weeks! What have you tried for it?

I have found soup, crisps, thin pizza, crackers and biscuits okay to stomach and as for drinks i was really stuggling but since i discovered ice, ice poles, lollies etc it has been better.

I went to the doc today for anti sickness tablets which has really helped.

    What are you terrified about?

    Welcome

Caffull - have you tried the seasickness wristbands from Boots? They're the only thing that stopped my morning sickness beautifully (well ok, not totally but twice a week was manageable!) Don't worry about not eating properly - the baby doesn't need too much from you at this stage. I lived on McCoy's crisps for at least the first few weeks!

    Welcome Caffull :hello:
WW - how's the bleed thing going?

No more bleeding, just that one incident of spotting - phewf! :j

Still feeling really ropey even with the cyclizine. Don't know how I'm going to cope with going back to work on Thursday  At least the dizziness seems to have abated

Hey lovelies, my scan went wonderfully!!! Thank you so much for all the well wishes. I was so nervous and worried, but baby stayed very still so a lovely picture could be taken, and then got excited and started wiggling, have really clear pictures, have sent them to OH via email and he is over the moon. Was so lovely to see it!!! oooh so lovely.

  • Evening ladies,

I had a lovely day with DH today we headed to Ikea to have a look at their cots, tbh though some of the cots weren't very impressive and make me feel if I got it people might think we hadn't really bothered!!!! In saying that though they have a lovely brand called lesvik (or something sounding like that!!! LOL!!!) and we could buy a full set for the same price as a cot and changer that we seen in our local pram centre!!! Its crazy!!! I know I could make the cot look really pretty though!!!

I enjoyed a yummy hotdog after that, no I confess 2!!! Haha!!! but once I was home I zonked for about 2 or 3 hours!!! Why is that??? I can work a 10 hr shift and manage to stay awake until bedtime then it comes to my day off andI feel like I hardly do anything and drop as soon as I get home!!! Its madness!!! LOL!!! :)
