im snacking on tuc crackers when im feeling a bit icky about half a pack in 4 days which isnt that bad. im going to go and make some flapjacks with some fruit in or some twinks as a healthyer alternative to crisps and biscuits.

i went shopping today and was a bit naughty. when did you ladies start buying bits? Ive been and bought a breast pump, baby moniter and steriliser today from boots as they had a 3 for 2 offer on. i did resist buying the pram as OH wouldnt come wiht me in the end but was relativley ok with me buying the rest.

I was horrified when I went off tea with DD1... I sat and cried 'what will I drink?' I started drinking it again at about 6months I think.. with extra sugar!

DS1 I craved skips and satsumas
DD1 apples and ice cream.. great except I am allergic to apple! I had a fetching rash!
DS2 cabbage and sprouts.. and no I didn't have flatulence! :D
DD2 ice pops.. not easy to find in December/January! and chicken soup
    DS3 nothing.. I didn't eat I was so depressed :(
DD3 mint aeros and chips from takeaway.. fries type not chip chips
    DD4 pizza sandwiches!
    DD5 fish finger sandwiches
    DD6 giant chocolate buttons
This time.. I just want chippy ALL the time! But just food in general seems to do the job!

pigpen I did exactly the same with tea, I didn't drink it for nearly 4 weeks, and that was from about 8 cups a day down to zero, but I'm fine drinking it now, only have a couple of cups though. Was devestated when I couldn't drink it!!

Have been a huge pig today have so far had:

    ginger nut biscuits
    rice crispies
    harvest bar
    mini chedders
    chewits
    half tin beans and cheese
    pitta bread
    small milky way
    packet of skittles!!!!

and there was me talking yesterday about not wanting to put on too much weight!!!

I have been to look at pushchairs today, only to look not to buy you understand.

And have fallen in love with the Stokke Xplory, I would as it costs about a million pounds, don't think I will be getting that one some how!!

@pawpurrs...the good news is that (for most), it gets better. I still feel pretty meh overall, but much better than just 2 weeks ago when I was afraid I'd fall asleep on the train and end up in Manchester.

@pigpen, I'm wondering if some of the snobbery I see occasionally is just the Oxford way. It's a pretty divided city here (north = slightly posh, south = the 'hood). There's not too much overt stuff, but lots of nasty muttering on the bus. I even intervened one day and praised a mom who was working really hard to keep her (quite obviously tired) infant happy.

Just Googles that xplory. Very cool. A buggy/pushchair is one of the things I really want to research and get a good one, as I walk/bus a *lot*. Lucky for me, this is the first grandchild on both sides. My OH is an only child, and his mom is a big gift-giver...so I'm hoping that we'll have some help with the big ticket items if we know what we'd like. Seriously, we are going to have the most spoiled baby ever.

Are there anymore scans booked ladies?

Hi can you add me to the scan list for 13th May?

I'm 10+5 at the moment. First baby. Going to tell work this week. Things seem to have gone fairly smoothly so far except feeling constantly nauseous since 8 weeks, although only been sick once. I've been grabbing a healthy snack every hour to try keep my energy levels up.

Is anyone else feeling seriously hormonal? I think a lot of it has to do with the fact I'm really not sleeping very well. But I feel on top of the world one minute and like I could burst into tears the next, for no apparant reason either?! It's really infuriating, just end up feeling all stupidly sorry for myself.

ahhh in about 2 minutes I think I am very likely to get a grumpy arsey text off of my mother!!!

She wanted to come to my scan with me as OH is away (whenever it may be) and I originally said yes on friday (stupidly) but now I think about it, it was just a really bad move. She fusses and over reacts and is really over dramatic and will just really really annoy me, and if there is anythign up with the scan she will just fall apart, which I really don't need. Also I am going to have to come straight from work and go straight back to work, so it seems pointless her driving an hour each way for ten minutes, also If (god forbid) something is up, I will cope much much better on my own as I always do.

Am I being selfish, I feel really bad, She just really does my head in!!!!
