DS1's gf breastfed hers, she was 16.5 when she had him... she is still feeding him at 2. DS1 pressured her ino bf.. he said he didn't care what everyone else did it was best for the baby.. and a few of her friends and her stepsister bf as a result of seeing her bf.. I think it is what is the norm in their circle of friends.. it takes 1 to break the cycle and the others follow.. esp as they probably al got pregnant 1 after the other because 'that is what they do'

Are there anymore scans booked ladies?

I've got my 12 week scan on 31 May...

8 weeks today... MS is a right royal pain, it struck right at 5+4 and though I've only thrown up twice (had to run down an alley way on Saturday arvo :o) it's getting me down. Had a bit of a blub yesterday as didn't think I could face going out and about to meet up with friends, but pulled myself together and felt better for it. I'd quite like food to taste normal now though! Fingers crossed I'll be one of those women who lose the MS at 10 weeks.

We've started a names list... Got loads for girls, but struggling for boys. I guess we've got some time yet!

We're also thinking of ways that we'll be telling friends and family once we've had the scan, which is quite exciting. I'd like to slip it into the conversation quite casually and let them figure it out :D. 4 weeks to go - hope that goes quickly, I'm almost bursting to tell people whenever we speak to them and starting to feel bad about all the porkies I'm telling to excuse my non-drinking!

eeek starting to panic about not having my scan date as am now 11 weeks! Really want it!

Hey blue, I too am really struggling for boys names but not for girls, I think there is much more choice for girls. The only boys names I like are the most common ones!

ive just spent the best part of 3 days reading back through all this thread :) Im 6 weeks 4 days according to the date of my last period and am due around 22nd december

its starting to feel real as im feeling a bit icky today but dont want to eat constantly as already very over weight and dont want to put more weight on than necessary. i am hoping to come though this with minimul weight gain and hopefully even a loss as even though i wont be dieting, just making healthy food choices and cutting down sligthly on portion sizes.

making an apt at the doctors for the next couple of days as i only found out i was pregnant on thursday night :)

right im going to go and get showered and dressed and drag OH off to look at prams and stuff, need to get his input now when he is home rather than waiting till he is next back home :p

You don't have to eat loads often to help with the sickness, or unhealthy stuff. Even a couple of grapes helps me when I start feeling rubbish.

Although I am getting craving s for TUC biscuits, the ones with the cheesy stuff in the middle :rotfl:

delain..that's it, yes. The judging was that people would think they were slaggy because they got their boobies out. I mean it's not like you're doing a pole dance or something. There's a big old baby sucking on them! I completely understood their fear though, as I watch how teen mums are glanced at generally on the bus, etc. :(

I only went to the midwife last weds, and with all the bank holidays it's not suprising I haven'theard. I'm just worried that as the midwife would only see me until over ten weeks Im doubting I will get my scan at 12 weeks or anywhere close being 11 weeks now! grrr
why can't they hurry up!! If you haven't guessed I am the most impatient person in the world!!!
