None.. I lost 10lb in the first 6 weeks and have yet to regain that yet... but I will and probably another 3 stone knowing my luck!
my bump is huge compared to the size of the baby
the hormones produced in pregnancy which loosen the ligaments for easier delivery also relax muscles.. so you get constipated and a 'relaxed' tummy.. Bloating is also very common in the early months.. I found the bloating went at about 12 weeks and was replaced by baby.
I wouldn't worry about putting on too much weight unless you are eating nothing but junk food.. make sure you are eating healthily and the weight will be easier to shift, your bp lower and both you and baby healthier! If you are reay concerned you could do a small amount of non-impact exercise....
about 2.5 stone throughout pregnancy is average.. but how many people are average? Your will put on what you do.. don't stress it.. and definitely don't start a diet!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
thanks pigpen, my widwife said about 1 1/2 st to 2st. I'm not going to diet just worried that id put on too much weight already, which i probably have will just have to keep an eye on it i guess, do think my stomach is a lot of bloating as it gets even bigger when I eat something. I guess i just worry about being huge as I am rather short!0

Well done to him!
He's off to his doctors in a couple of weeks so hopefully he can get some help then - and I hope he starts sooner rather than later cos I can imagine coping with me being heavily pregnant will be interesting if he's trying to give up too!0 -

WOW there were loads on that list a month ago.. looks like almost everyone has moved on.. still no word from RWB
I do hope she is ok.
I'm 16 weeks now!! Where does it fly too?
I am still starving constantly though but I am still bf Squeak as well and having looked around on t'web I have discovered I am 'allowed' 700 more calories a day.. so that is the equivalent of 2 meals for me! I averaged 800-900 calories a day before I had Squeak! So to get to 2700 is MASSIVE for me.. i don't think i'll get there!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
