Just wanted to ask people who have suffered with MS, when did it start approximately?

    Thanks

Most around me seem to have started in the 8 weeks area.....

I haven't had any, well not really- I've thrown up a couple of times, but that's it. MS wouldn't help any at the moment, so hope I don't get it- I'm trying my hardest not to faint most of the time!
  • Congrats and welcome to Kimmy and Monkey :j:j

Also congrats Iamjen for the scan :D

Not a lot to report from me, We are camping in Scotland at the moment and I've had a little bit nausea, it starts about 30 minutes after I eat a meal and lasts for about 2-3 hours. I've not been sick, just mouth watering and feeling grotty.

MS started pretty early for me 6 or 7 weeks, but it was mostly just loads of nausea as opposed to actual vomiting. Finding out which foods help/hinder has made the difference for me. Still feeling pretty gnarly somewhere around 12 weeks now, but if I stay away from bread and certain random foods, then at least everything stays down. :)

missymoo, I think they'll make their own judgment at the 12 week scan anyway. If you've not got an appt. yet, I might ring. Our local trust won't do the nuchal past 13 weeks, so you want to make sure you're in if you're going to have the NT test.

Hiya, i'm only a bit further on than you i think 6+1.. I started with nausea about 3 days after conception (lucky me!), and have had it on and off most days since then! No throwing up yet, and the nausea has tended towards mild, but appears to be getting worse gradually. Usually kicks in if i am hungry or thirsty..

I'm also really starting to fancy mature cheddar for every meal.. mmmm

  • My MS started a few days after I found out I was pregnant, so around 4-5 weeks. It lasted until 24 weeks. Now I just control it by making sure I have breakfast quickly and its fine, havent hugged the loo in nearly 6 weeks :D still feel nauseous at times though. Just make sure to eat little and often.

quick question, for those that are near the end of their first trimester, how much weight have you put on? And what is considered normal? I'm starting to worry that I'm overdoing the eating somewhat as my stomach has definitely grown!!
