Thanks for all the replies to my question - I rang my docs and they said I need to see the GP first, then I'll get referred to the midwife. So I've got an appt on Monday morning, which is making it all feel a bit more real!
Have felt rather rubbish today, I've had AF like cramps all day which is worrying me a bit. No spotting though, which I guess is positive.

Cramps are perfectly normal.

Well... I can feel obvious movement.. definitely more than the 9 weeks the mw decided I am.. What do you lot think.. 9 or 13 or anywhere in bedtween or more or less??? .. The purple hoodie went on over the top of this fetching get up.



Best get my nocturnal 17 month old monster to bed.. again.. little beastling.

Don't worry too much about AF style cramps- this is normal just uterus stretching. Only when pain is severe would you ring the doc pregnancy go to A&E.

Miffy I am thinking of you- I know a few people who have had spotting in early pregnancy and they all went to the hospital to get checked out. A&E refer across to fetal medicine. All found out their babies were safe and well through a scan. One lady was a work colleague and she was sobbing saying there was a load of blood so we were all worried but baby was totally fine. Worth getting checked out though because otherwise you'll worried sick imagining all sorts ((hugs))

To whoever asked about dreams- had a horrid one last night that i had huge lice in my hair. They were at least as big as ants and they were truly gross! I was totally freaked out. (dream may come from having sand thrown over me by DS yesterday-some was in my hair.)
Had a night out tonight-nobody noticed i wasn't drinking. I had two lemonades and a mocktail so i could have been drinking to anyone watching.

TTC40 congrats on your bfp

Miffy I had some early spotting around the same stage as you 51/2 weeks or so, 10 daya after AF was due. Everything was okay, the dr said its pretty common in the 5 & 6 weeks of preg. Hope you feeling better now

Pigpen you probably know better than me about how far along but I thought the earliest you could feel baby move was about 16 weeks. Great pic btw- I'd say 20 weeks but that's based on my first pregnancy. Everything is definitely popping out quicker this time. I swear i have a little bump already!

PP - that is some bump! I would say you must be nearer 13 weeks, but then again don't they say that when you have had children already you show earlier?

When can you get a scan?

I have felt squirming from about 10-11 weeks with most of the last half dozen at least.. and proper kicks by about 13-14 weeks

I have been in maternity stuff by about 5 weeks with every single one of mine.. even the first ... but HOW!!!!! can noone inc. OH not have noticed??? Seriously, I am immense.. I've seen people with less of a bump and have them the next week.. My tummy does not usually stick out further than my boobs lol..

Oh my.. one of the little treasures appears to have produced me a 'present'... glee... just what you want with your morning cuppa!

I thought that if you have had babies before then bump gets bigger quicker ? so I have no idea Pigpen but you have a beautiful bump. How can your OH not notice!
