  • Thanks Ladies.

That was a useful link, lots of food for thought.

MV - AF was due over 10 days ago, so I don't think it could be that.

I think I will just stay on knicker watch for the rest of the day and if it gets any worse phone the EPU. I had a look on the website of my hospital, and EPU only takes referrals from GP/Midwife or ER.
  • Will keep everything crossed for you Miffy xx
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
  • Thanks MV. Much appreciated. How are things with you?

I'm feeling very meh and sorry for myself. Although DD is spoiling me by having another 3 hour nap so I can wallow. I'll give her 10 min before I go and wake her for a play and some tea.
  • Aww Miffy, I know how horrible it is when something happens, it really makes you feel low. I'm sure it'll be ok though. Spotting is SO common in early pregnancy, hopefully you'll find it eases off, but definitely get an appointment if not as it will put your mind at rest.

All ok with me thanks. Just in the nothing 2nd tri stage. Still feeling really tired, but nothing else of note apart from that. I'm on knicker watch constantly too..it never stops!

DS had a 2 hour nap this afternoon..I had to go in there at 3.15 as he'll just keep sleeping otherwise and I don't want it to spoil his sleep later.

Hello there - Hoping it's nothing to worry about, but if you want reassurance it might be worth giving the EPU a call. Previously I've called mine and they told me to go to a&e who would transfer me straight to them. They might scan, but more likely take a blood sample, then another 1-2 days later to check your hormone levels are rising. Fingers crossed bleeding etc stops soon - I know how worrying it is.
  • miffy - hugs to you, i know its impossible but try not to worry too much and get in touch with your EPU if you need, keep us posted xx

MV - its good to see you had good news at ur scan, so glad everythings ok so far :)

    Evening all!
Hugs for Miffy and congrats to all the other newbies!
Thanks for all the replies to my question - I rang my docs and they said I need to see the GP first, then I'll get referred to the midwife. So I've got an appt on Monday morning, which is making it all feel a bit more real!
Have felt rather rubbish today, I've had AF like cramps all day which is worrying me a bit. No spotting though, which I guess is positive.
    Hope eveyone is well x
