I had the exact same panic today andfear! Whole weekend I've been symptom free and even managed to go for a run yesterday, started getting worried that I didn't feel pukey by this morning but I think it just comes in waves... I know I feel worse at work but that could be psychological lol! I'm only six weeks but hopeful that the nausea and soreness are the worst they'll be, famous last words :rotfl:0

Good Evening
Sorry to hear about all the sickness and unpleasantnessHope you all perk up soon.
Good news here is that I now have a GP appointment for Thursday, who can refer me to m/w. Why I can't self refer - I don't know. I just hope the appointment isn't late, as I have a hospital appointment for DD straight after.0 -
I now know why when I was pregnant with ds2 I said I would not be getting pregnant again! I feel dreadful! Managed one glass of water yesterday and no food, that just came straight back up. Been motivating myself all week to continue with work on wed but its just not going to happen.
Really don't understand why I was fine with DS1....0 -
I am so glad I'm working from home today - I've been retching pretty much since the moment I got up
I've told one workmate our news (his wife is also pregnant and he told me when she was 7 weeks so we're quite close friends). I figured as I work in a male / construction environment someone at work ought to know just in case something happens or if he hears my boss ask me to go to a site he can cover for me a bit.
Apparently I've given up alcohol for lent, according to workDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Hi there,
I have been lurking for quite some time and it's been really helpful to read about other's experiences.
I got my bfp on valentines day but didn't want to start posting yet as its still early days, i'm worried it might all "go away", but I was wondering if anyone else has aching legs/hips?. Or is it just me?!? It's a really odd bruised feeling in my hips towards the back (bum cheeks lol) and all down my outer thighs to my calves.
Is this normal? Thanks for any help in advance! No one knows apart from hubby so I don't really have anyone to ask for advice. (Want to wait a few weeks to get my head round it all before I tell my mum!)

What do you do in construction? It's nice to see another lady in a male dominated industry!
I'm a QS in a civil engineering company - luckily i have been put in the office for some 'experience' (I wasn't happy to begin with - but it has worked out for me!!!) So no extra H&S issues!0 -

Pregnancy symptoms come in all shapes and sizes, don't know if there's a normal for everyone, think we all have our different little niggles as our bodies have got different ways of coping with whats going on!
Bits might be stretching that you didn't know were there or could stretch, or you may just be more aware of things now you've got your BFP.
Guess I'm just saying allsorts will happen over the next months, try to relax, but obviously if you think something isn't right get in touch wth your MW or GP that's what they're there for!
Oooh and congratulations!!0 -

I had this. Its due to the surge in hormones apparently, they make your muscles relax and it can result in pain. I also managed the pull my chest muscles while being sick. That was fun.
Basically, with pregnancy, anything goes. Obviously blood and extreme stomach pain should be assessed by a GP. If in doubt just phone them.0 -
Afternoon all, felt okish over the weekend went to the seaside for some nice sea air think that helped me feel better although I was retching all the way there in the car lol
I've been signed off for another 2 weeks by the doc and given some more anti sick tablets to try, I'm good some days and others feel awful too think its normal
Got booking on Thursday can't wait to get scan booked I need to see baby to put my mind at ease, also need to talk to midwife about my fear of giving birth againI'm terrified its gonna be horrible again. I had my heart set on asking for a section but I'm doubting that now too, I know baby has to come out one way or another but last baby was just a horrible experience, where as my first baby was a lovely experience anyway enough rambling ill speak to midwife hopefully she'll be helpful xxx

I get this kinda pain too, quite literally a pain in the !!!! Its worse at night and often means I can't get to sleep, so I'm always shattered! Hoping it eases off over next few weeks but not holding out much hope lol!
Have a training course for work tomorrow which means formal clothes and not jeans..boo..so have to try and decide on normal black trousers that dig in, or maternity trousers that are slightly too big and may fall down! Apart from that, I am cursing the postie every time he brings mail that isn't a letter with my scan date!0
