  • glad to see people are having fun on here!

AFM bit of tiredness and nausea but I have an upset tummy so that's to be expected. Boobs still tender but no expanding thank goodness. I want to wear my bikini as long as I can get away with it!
  • Good luck with your appointment andfear - hopefully you will get a scan date and an EDD! You too Pigpen

I'm a bit angry with my GP surgery. I phoned last week and asked if I could self refer to MW, and it was all no, no, no you MUST see the GP. Couldn't get an appointment. Obviously. Then got one for tomorrow, ridiculously early and not quite sure how I'm going to get me and DD out on time. Anyways, I was looking on the website of the hospital I would want to give birth at, the same as DD, and there is an online form for you to self refer without having to see the GP. Grrrr. So I could have done that a week ago. I've filled in the form and will still see GP (hopefully) as I think I've got an infected toe. Random. I'm just annoyed, that the Receptionist didn't know this.

I'm procrastinating now. I'm trying to do as much of my report now as poss, before the ms kicks in. Which I hope it doesn't. I only ever had nausea with DD so I'm hoping for the same! :)

6 weeks today by my own calucations...Im putting off ringing the midwife as I hate being poked and prodded  (even just on my belly lol)

Idk what it is but lying down on a bed thing just makes me feel vunerable & all I want to do is sit up.

I want my 12 week scan but if it wasnt for that I probally wouldnt ring them till I was about 6months or so. :rotfl:

Or unless I thought something was wrong ofc...

I'd happily just turn up for them to whizz it out if I am honest.. it is all a waste of time and effort for the most part.

  • I'm still waiting for the booking appointment to come through. Like you MiffyMoo, it's impossible to get doctors appointments round here unless you call at 8am on the dot (which I can't if I'm on a train on my mobile to an 0844 number) so I self referred online to the midwife - two weeks ago now. Just to be on the safe side I also printed out a copy of my self-referral form and posted it in. They shold definitely have it by now. The trouble is with our hospital you can only ring the midwives if you are already a pataient, so not quite sure how I would chase an appointment up.

I know it will come through when it comes through, but I'm anxious enough as it is!

If it wasnt for the scans I would...I will be asking for the midwife to make my appointments as far apart as possible as its going to be a hassle for me to get down thier now as we don't have a car & DS :A
