Haven't been on here in a while, just been catching up! Congratulations to those of you who has your scans recently! Got mine this week.

PP- sorry to hear of your troubles telling OH, hope it goes well when he finally notices!

I'm 11+5 today, my trousers are struggling to fasten but determined not to buy new clothes just yet. Symptoms seem to have eased off though, the nausea and tiredness are much better :)

Congrats to those who have recently had their BFPs or their scans!

I went on a night out last night which had been organised for months and I couldn't really get out of... being stone cold sober in a nightclub is zero fun. As is feeling queasy after dinner.

Hugs to everyone with bad sickness, I am feeling queasy quite a lot but not actually been sick yet. Only 5+4 though, so that could all change!

Eugh I have also been feeling like a bag of !!!!!! since Friday. Can't stop being sick, have a headache and am constantly tired.

If it gets any worse will have to go the docs see if there's anything they can give me.

First midwife appointment tomorrow for me.
  • so me and oh cant agree on how far i am along, main symptom is a bit of nausea and a awful amount of round ligament pain. My boobs where agony around xmas and i have lost a stone since but my boobs are the same size and when ever ive dieted they always go first. If only Id had normal periods this would be easier - ho hum

the shock is easing, making way for nightmares and I hope normal mum to be worrys :)

Hello all, I am back a little earlier than expected but happy to be here.
Have one daughter who is 9 months, and recently found out I'm due to have another baby 21st September, so I'm around 9 weeks.

Haven't been to Drs or anything yet but ill sort that this week.

So so ill, as per last time, I feel like I have just stepped off a roller coaster with the worst hangover in the world. Oh the joys!

Thanks guys, for all that caught my post y-day wanted to post my latest dream.

I was living with an Indian fam (I am white british) and they kicked me out when they fount out i was pregnat so crying my eyes out ended up living at my nans who was making dinner. I asked her if i could take a shower and she can you put chips on as well while your up thier? so went to bathroom where an oven and dumbwaiter brought chips up in a pan which i was keeping an eye on in shower........:rotfl::eek:

I think I might start a dream diary this happened to me on my first pregnacy, of the dreams I remember thier always werid but never remember them so either my pregnacy somehow makes me remember them more or just causes my body so much distress it sends me into dream overdrive lol
People don't know what they want until you show them.

I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THIS 39 WEEKS OF HELL TO BE OVER.

Sorry I know thiers not much you guys can do but I needed a rant this is my second pregnacy and if I lost him/her I would be devestated but my symtoms are ridulous.

I had to take paracetmal eariler as I was crying my eyes out with morning sickness and a headache that I have had all day that just got worse n worse I couldnt take it anymore...I hate taking tablets as it is + thiers so much confusion on whether its safe to take them when pregnat but I was just having a total break down!!

So apart from the "morning" sickness, the headaches, the slight heartburn, completly gone off food, and weird taste in my mouth AND trying to look after my 6month DS who is lovely tho ...got to admit good angel baby.

Even at night I am not getting any piece I am sorry if this is TMI but I am having stupid nightmares...last night I was in the Hunger Games and I used a pencil to rip someones heart open!!! !!!!!! IS THAT EVEN ABOUT?!?

I AM NOT EVEN 6 WEEKS PREGNAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok rant over >.< On plus side my headache has gone. :T

THIS is exactly how I've been feeling the past few days, so glad I'm not alone in feeling this way...

The nausea is getting worse, but still not actually being sick. Headaches are back. I'm having weird dreams too, that's when I actually get to sleep coz I have such sore and achy muscles in my legs, my boobs are also very sore too....and to top it all, DH went out with friends last night, rolled in about 2.30am, woke me up, then he fell asleep but I couldn't get back to sleep, then this morning I'm the one with a banging head, feeling sick and had to go to work!!!

I'll be ten weeks on Thursday, here's hoping things improve A LOT very shortly!
  • sorry to hear about the horrible pregnancy symptoms, hope it all passes soon

I'm still feeling pretty privileged to be pregnant, I'm looking forward to my scan although it's 6-8 weeks away

    Morning ladies,
I hope everyone with horrid symptoms starts to feel better soon.
I ended up in the hospital on Saturday night with some dodgy pain in my left side. I think they just sent me there just in case, but I have to go back tomorrow for a scan to make sure it's not ectopic. The pain has kind of eased, but I'm quite worried!!! I'm sure it'll all be fine.

By far the worst thing of the whole affair was the internal exam. I can honestly say I've never been in more pain in my life. The smear-type test was fine, but the hand (with gloves, but without anything to 'smooth the way' ahem) was absolutely awful - rough, with no respect for the fact that I'd already told 2 doctors that my vjayjay was hurting!!!:( And it was a woman - I expect better to be honest. I came home in tears and poor DH was on the other side of the curtain wondering whether or not to intervene!

Hope everyone's feeling OK! Wish me luck for tomorrow. I keep thinking I must be a bit of a wimp!:o

Nic.. you are totally within your rights to refuse any kind of examination and to tell them to stop if it is too uncomfortable. Pain on the left side is often associated with bowel issues which are very common in early pregnancy with the muscles relaxing.. and it can be very painful! I was in hospital with 1 of mine for similar things and it was just a combination of constipation and chronic wind.. ;) I hope all is feeling better xx
