    I'd be happy with either a boy or a girl...got a feeling mine's a girl though.

In retrospect maybe I shouldn't have gone for the early scan yesterday - it was so early that it's hard to feel that much reassured, I think I need to see a heartbeat really.
I can see myself becoming a scan addict, paying for lots of scans but never really feeling reassured because there's always the next stage to get worried about....

My boss was being dead nice today (had to tell him due to medical reasons) although he's off for two weeks from Monday and is insisting on telling the manager who'll be covering his role that I'm preg, so more people to find out. If I'm ill at work though I suppose they need to know.
  • great news rum!

5 weeks today :) boobs are feeling more tender and bigger, maybe I am pregnant!

I posted this http://www.bounty.com/organiser-tools/gender-guesser on the 12-24 thread and it has been pretty accurate in predicting the thread's babies so far! :p

I thought I was having a boy from day one, but I am having a girl (I asked at my 19 week scan as I hate surprises!) - and Bounty was right!!!!:T

Obviously only a bit of fun - but see what its predicting for you!:)

Hi everyone, hoping you don't mind a newbie to the thread! Have just found out I'm pregnant and calculated that I'm around 5 weeks. Was a little surprised the doc didn't take any blood or urine sample at my appointment the other day as apparently thepositive tests were enough, did any of you have the same? Have also been suffering from cramping the past few days, feels distinctly like period pain so feeling quite paranoid about everything that could go wrong... Anyway just thought I'd say hi and good luck to you all

Congrats Lobey!!!!!! I've had a fair few cramps but it's more sporadic than a period would be. I've read it's normal as the uterus starts to expand immediately. A bit paranoid myself to be honest as I just don't feel that pregnant. I was knackered last week but this week I have bags of energy....I'm excited but don't want to be too excited and 6 weeks seems a long time until I can have a scan and find out if all is ok.

Congrats Lobey and welcome! I am around 6 weeks and although I've not had any cramping in this pregnancy I did have quite severe period like cramps at 5 +2 in my previous, and all was fine as I gave birth to a healthy boy 33 weeks later!
  • I am officially crazy. I have done nine tests so far (4 weeks today) and plan on continuing for the foreseeable future!

I had a chemical pregnancy in August last year and part of me wants to be prepared for the worst - I'd rather see the white negative test than be surprised by sudden bleeding at the weekend. But this feels different to last time (if that makes sense) so I am trying to keep positive.

  • Massive congrats comp, wishing you a healthy and happy 9 months. Most of us here went a little over the top with peeing on sticks when TTC so why change once we get a positive hpt LOL
