Morning all.

Lao - my scan is next Tuesday so only 5 more days to wait!

Great news on the scan an9. I don't think it's a waste of money at all, what price your peace of mind eh?

11+4 today - goodness these last couple of weeks have crawled by.

Had my reflexology yesterday and she said she could feel that my intestines are sluggish (I am so bloated), and also the bit on my foot which corrolates to my bladder was tender too - hence my UTI.

On 4 antibiotic tablets a day which seems excessive, but hoping it sorts it once and for all.

Our timings are so similar MV. I'm also 11+4 and got my scan next Wednesday.

Booking in 19 days.. that is less than 20.. I might cancel it.. I don't want to go. It makes it real, with just me and my nail lady knowing I can be in denial but paperwork makes it official.

I think my kidneys are playing up already.. my back is agony and my hips/pelvis are hurting already... though that might have something to do with Dot sleeping on me all night.

I know what you mean by the last few weeks crawling by. I still haven't had my booking appt or NHS scan date through and I'm between 12+4 and 13+1 today. I have booked a private scan tonight though and I'm really excited but nervous. I really hope there is something to see. I want to tell family on the weekend as my SIL is booking her wedding for sometime late in July :eek: possibly abroad.

Had my scan and everything is as it should be. I'm so relieved! Due date as expected 18th August, its soooo much more 'real' now

I'm off to shop for some maternity jeans now.

That's brilliant news Rum.

Just a quick question. Can they find out the sex of the baby at the first (12w) scan or is it too early? Also how many of you want to know? I don't so I will need to tell them before they scan me.

It's most probably too early to tell the sex, but sometimes they can take a guess at it.

I definitely want to know, did last time round too and it made decorating the nursery/buying clothes etc far easier.
