Is anyone else having really vivid dreams? I am shattered when I wake up because they are so draining - I feel like I've been up all night!!
I'm only 4.5 weeks pregnant. (Last period 6th Dec 2012, 27 day cycle, postive test Friday 4th Jan 2013 and everyday since). I'm also getting very vivid dreams!
I really cannot wait until the baby is here. I'm terrified something will go wrong! What worse is, other than Hubby I don't want to tell anyone so keep ing it myself is hard!I'm never offended by debate & opinions. As a wise man called Voltaire once said, "I disagree with what you say, but will defend until death your right to say it."
Mortgage is my only debt - Original mortgage - January 2008 = £88,400, March 2014 = £47,000 Chipping away slowly! Now saving to move.0 -
No vivid dreams here.
I feel tired today, despite laying in every day till about 9am! But I don't feel so exhausted that I need to go to bed at 8pm like I did last time. It's hard not to compare everything, but I'm nowhere near as nauseous and my appetite is pretty good even if I am binging on crisps.
I'm back at work tomorrow so will be interesting how tiring I find it.
Rum and lao and anyone else concerned. It is pretty rough the first trimester, but most (not all sadly) do feel better and get their energy back. Don't expect miracles after 12 weeks though! Last time I remember at 16 weeks (cos I was at a hen do) still struggling with being tired. But at the wedding at 18 weeks I was feeling great. Then of course you get other possible problems...for me a bit of SPD and bad heartburn. But that was nothing compared to these early weeks and you get to feel a baby kicking you which makes it worth it
I wish I could nap like you lot - I actually had the perfect opportunity today when I was in bed with my DD (she's a terrible napper) and she slept for an hour and a half and I was awake though whole time, just lying there! Bah.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Been getting bad cramps today. This morning was awful because it was sooo bad but I was also half asleep so a bit unsure what was happening. I think everything's ok though, no other symptoms.0

Morning Girls, Im feeling pretty good today, managed to eat a nice healthy dinner last night, went to bed at about 10pm and slept really well. This morning I dont feel sick or tired, enjoyed a cup of tea and 2 pieces of toast for breakfast. Part of me is relieved to be feeling ok and able to get on with a days work (I havent been doing very much at work since going back after Christmas) and part of me is now terrified that no symptoms means something is wrong.
No Angel - I had a few painful crampy feelings last week but nothing since I believe its just things stretching ready for the baby to grow.
Lao - hugs honey, Im glad I have someone to share the moans with. I have told a colleague but shes not very sympathetic as she know we were trying for ages and keeps saying... but this is what you wanted! If at first you dont succeed, try, try again0 -
Jess - I can't wait to actually crave something (other than junk food I'm sure I craved anyway!) I wonder what it'll be
Justone/Bluemeanie - I've not had any vivid dreams but I do have trouble sleeping in general. I think because I've got the cold I keep waking myself up unable to breathe.
Ktb - I'm sure your nails & hair are supposed to get stronger, small bonus compared to the sickness but I'll take it. Huge congrats on the engagement.
Gizmodo - I'd love to nap too lol. Good luck with your first day back
NoAngel - Hope the cramps die down, such a horrible feeling but I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.
Rum - I'm exactly the same. Day 2 of not feeling sick (which I'm not complaining about!) but now a little worried that I SHOULD feel sick? I'm still hellishly tired though so I think I'm worrying over nothing.
Still not sure what to do about docs. I went on 17th Dec and my GP told me I'd get a letter in from the hospital with a scan date (no timescale given) and then my aunt told me last night that I should see a midwife before this so I'm not sure whether to call them and find out?My Debt Free Diary

Hi Claree, you should see your midwife at around 8 weeks, I think you usually contact your GP and they get the midwife to contact you with an appointment.0

Thanks sparkes, I'll call them now!My Debt Free Diary

The norm does seem to be seen at 8 weeks, but I've seen some where they are apparently combining the booking appointment with the 12 week scan. Dunno if it was someone here or someone on Baby and Bump, but I'm sure I'm not making it up
I was back at work today...two things...
I told my boss!! I wasn't going to do, but I've been worrying sick about it and I kinda just blurted it outI feel so good to have it out in the open, big weight off my shoulders.
Second, I nearly fainted in one of the lessonsI had to walk out
I'm hoping it's just the lesson as it's one where I stand still the most and the room is very warm. The other lessons were fine, but I'm walking round the room more and sitting down or perching on tables.
All in all though I think being back at work is better than being at home. The last couple of weeks have really dragged for me. And I can see the weeks will go much quicker at work.
Another problem is my trousers are too tight, they're too uncomfortable. I honestly don't know what to do. If I get a size 16 they'll be huge and baggy around the bum. It's too early for maternity wear - I already tried some of my old stuff on and it's all a bit baggy around the bum.
Thinking maybe getting a skirt - wonder if I can get one with an elasticated waist!Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
@rum hugs for your unsympathetic colleague. Glad your feeling better today, I wouldn't worry about it, it could be the healthy dinner you had last night. The days I eat well and excercise I feel better. It's just finding the energy to keep it up!
@giz, I am living in dresses ATM, they look smart and ate the most comfortable. My available wardrobe is shrinking though, so thinking of picking up a few bits! I was in some stare trying to get dressed this morning!0 -
hi
I was wondering if I could join you? I'll be 8 weeks on friday.
Have been having morning (afternoon and night sickness) every day for the last 2 1/2 weeks and feeling totally exhausted by it. Started back at work yesterday and was ready to have a nap under my desk by lunch time!
