Our update.
It's our 12 week scan Tomorrow. Even though we've had an early scan at 6 weeks I am still worried due to the problems we had last time.

Fatman, good luck tomorrow. I don't know your history, but the 12 week scan is pretty nerve wrecking at the best of times.

I still feel sick and I'm insanely tired. Hubby keeps worrying about me, says I look pale and he doesn't recall me being so bad last time. I think it's more that we were both at work during the worst of it last time so he didn't see me moan so much! Time to get some Spatone though, want to keep those iron levels up and recall it giving me a bit of a boost before.

Just a quick question- when do I need to contact my doctor? I got a positive yesterday and my LMP was 27th nov, so can't be that far along.

Hello, The sooner the better really because your doctor will set the wheels in motion and refer you to your nearest community midwife team.

I've been wondering about when to call the docs as well so thanks.

I have been getting pains on my left hand side when I stretch or yawn. Is this type of thing normal? I don't remember it from last time.

I have that same thing justone! It makes me yelp & I have to stay still & push on it like a hernia until it stops!

Woweeee I'm able to join this thread, I was not expecting this nice little surprise at all (we weren't even trying, just reckless). I see other people are also due when I think I will be (September 1st unless the scans show otherwise). Thank you to those above to said to see the doctor asap, I have an appointment this morning to get the ball rolling, from there I will need to keep quiet until 12 weeks... or are people telling people early? I'm most concerned about any sickness and having to tell work really early!

Does anyone else not quite believe the little sticks? I've done 6 on different mornings (not very MSE at all!)

Hi Helen,

Hope it went well at the docs. I rang but the emergency number was on so I guess I'll try again on Wednesday.

I've only done 3 tests so far!! I do have another one upstairs so I might do it just to quadruple check!!
