I'm feeling sorry for myself. Nausea is hitting bad now as is the tiredness or maybe I'm just tired from feeling sick. I've dug out my sea bands to see if they help a bit.

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie on this thread, got my BFP today and I'm very excited. Did the test 3 times before actually believing it! We'd only been trying since November, I stopped taking my pill after my wedding in October. Very surprised to have got the BFP so quickly!

Have been really really tired for the last few days, couldn't understand why but now this makes sense! DH ran out and bought a pregnancy book as he's keen to keep track of what's happening and when!

MV welcome back from your travels. Eeeek 5 days with in laws that must of been tough ( after one day and night I am always ready to come home!!), hope you get to have some relaxing time at home!

Hi all i am 5+3 pregnant with my first child and i found out yesterday!!! could someone please explain what bfp means? According to the internet my due date is 29th August. Nice meeting you all and look forward to hearing how your pregnancies are coming along

Congratulations, I found out yesterday too! BFP= big fat positive (pregnancy test).

Congrats NoAngel and welcome.

6 weeks for me today, and feeling just the slightest waves of nausea this morning. 5 days until my next scan, keeping everything crossed that all is growing well.

I've just been researching recipes online for Virgin Mojito's as we are having friends over for NYE dinner tomorrow night, and OH traditionally makes cocktails.

I'm going to have to come clean I think as making up excuses as to why I'm not having a drink on NYE just will not wash with my best friend!

Because I've had a couple of mc's this year however, I don't feel so bad about a few people knowing early, and my friend will more than understand my concerns.

Lao - thankfully it wasn't a full 5 days at my in-laws, as that would have driven me totally round the bend! We were at my folks for Christmas Eve/Day and then OH's from Boxing Day till yesterday.

Thanks for the tip savage. I really quite fancy the virgin mojito's though, had them earlier in the year at a bar and they were lovely.

Got another friend coming for dinner tonight too, so I am going to pretend I'm drinking G&T's (which I can offer her), where in fact I am just going to have fizzy water and a slice of lemon..inspired!

@MV ahh that seems a bit more reasonable I told my best friend as I knew that my passing on drinks wouldn't wash with her and her and her DH are ttc and having problems and didn't want it to seem like I was hiding it from her. It was such a relief tbh, I don't mind making excuses with work etc but with those I am very close to, it feels wrong IFSWIM. Have everything crossed for u for your scan on Friday

Hello Can I join please? I am 6 + 5 now, due 20th August!

About me: I am 20, my boyfriend is 22 and we have been together 6 years Baby was a big shock but we have never been more excited! Booking in with the midwife is on Friday, just cant wait for our scan now.
