  • I have my next scan on January 4th when I should be coming up for 7 weeks.
I'm really scared and really excited at the same time.

How am I going to get to heaven?,

I am 6 wks 5, I was quite nervous and excited about it too :)
  • Lao - Glad the scan went well.

I haven't even managed to get to the doctor's yet. I've got an appointment for the 7th when I will be 8wks, so am hoping everything is OK. As a first timer I don't really know what to expect.

@nutshell, I am also a first timer. I paid for the scan as I had some light spotting at 5 1/2 weeks so I wanted to make sure everything was okay. Still haven't had my first proper visit so no idea what to expect!

I have told my immediate family and my best friend. We will tell OH parents around New Years but no one else until 12 - 14 weeks I think.

Yep. I'm eating so much to keep it at bay :( Gotta stop or the pounds are going to pile on.

Yup, I have found walking very helpful though, after a 30min walk I get at least a couple of hours free from nausea :)

That is exactly what I am doing too gizmodo, I am grazing almost constantly! I'm also eating all the 'wrong' things as they seem to be the most appealing (had cake for breakfast today!) Trying not to beat myself up for it, but I am normally such a healthy eater & I am finding it a bit odd!

:) Last time I lived off crumpets, croissants, toast and pizza for a month. I don't recall putting much weight on during that time though. It all went on when I got my craving which was milk...drank so much it!

I'm struggling to drink anything at the moment :( Don't fancy anything now, not even coke. Bleugh.

On a more positive note I'm 7 weeks today. Feels good to move into the next week :)

I haven't really had any symptoms yet apart from (what I now know was) implantation cramping and some mild discomfort about a week ago. While I don't really want to feel sick for the next six weeks it all feels a bit surreal at the moment as the only thing telling me I'm pregnant is the half a dozen tests. :o
